Overall, the place is clean and decent, but if you’re a true pho enthusiast, it may fall short. The broth lacks the depth that comes from slow-simmered bones, and fresh basil isn’t even offered. I’d rate it 2.5 stars.
Went for lunch today and it was my first visit. Best Asian food I’ve had since moving to Western Illinois! I had the spring rolls with shrimp, noodles, mint, lettuce, and cucumber that were wrapped in wonderfully chewy rice paper and the shrimp rangoon that had whole shrimp in them. My husband and I enjoyed the food at Pho Lover. I ordered the Pho Tai Nam and it arrived in a big bowl chock full of noodles and meat. We were also treated with a delicious fruit salad after our meal which was fresh and cold on a hot day.
One of the nicest parts of our meal was the assistance we received from our server as this was our first time ordering pho. He was very helpful and attentive.
