Love the atmosphere with the local antiques and huge bookcase with ladder for the bottles. Drinks were tasty, tried a holiday fun and a bourbon on Sam the bartenders' recommendation. Both were very good! Ask for the house bourbons or whiskeys if that's your drink of choice, you will not be disappointed!
By far the best bar I've been to in ages. Beautiful decor, a comfortable atmosphere, so clean that you could see your reflection off of the floor. The spirit selection was impressive, had the classic brands most are familiar with aswell as specialized brands that are unique and intriguing. The owner Sam was kind and informative, had a passion for his place and what he does. The pride and joy of The Bar 65 tho is their whisky/whiskey selection. They have the classics for most cocktails or drafts, but this bar is a whisky/whiskey bar and it's honestly amazing. 12/10 experience, and this became my favorite place to go.

I LOVE this bar for Galesburg!! I used to work at the old GPs Lounge and the renovations are outstanding. Sam, the owner, was very knowledgeable and helped direct me in choosing a great whiskey selection. I will be back on my next visit to Galesburg.
