Big Thorn Farm & Brewery offers a great selection of quality beers and serves excellent food from its food truck, which is owned and operated by them. The food is amazing and is considered some of the best in Danville, with options that are definitely "NOT" bar food. Visitors can enjoy dishes like the smoked ham and apricot sandwich, praised as one of the best meals, and the broccoli parmesan soup, a new feature from the food truck. The atmosphere is stellar, featuring a tree bar made by them in the woods and a greenhouse for the winter. This unique spot is safe for women and children, making it a fantastic place for kids to run around and play outside. With standout beers like the Munich Pale, Rye IPA, and the pie sour, the brewery is worth a visit. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming vibe, and service is honestly very good. There is plenty of seating, games, and serene scenery, allowing visitors to relax outdoors while sipping on some brews. Overall, Big Thorn Farm & Brewery is a lovely destination for a day trip, with great food and craft beers made on-site, except for the hops.
