Big Thorn Farm & Brewery

This place is amazing. It's a little more expensive but ITS WORTH IT. City quality food and beer in small town Georgetown, IL.
I stepped out of my comfort zone because I don't like beer so I drink the hard cider and it was amazing but my boyfriend and his friends could not stop trying more and more of their drafts. They're super friendly. And their food is amazing. I had the smoked ham and apricot sandwich and that might have been the best thing I've ever ate. And I also got the broccoli parmesan soup which was a new truck feature and it was amazing!

Passing through and stopped, wow, how beautiful. People great, burgers on point. Beers and outdoors. Wish we lived closer, we would be back.

Food drinks service were all excellent!

Had a wonderful experience out here the other day. Beautiful spot and the beer and food are awesome. Be sure and try the pie sour. It is really good. All the food seems to be a cut above from the truck as well.

Love this place

Beer was top notch, they grow everything on site minus the hops. The food truck was delicious. Great space, some heated areas and outdoor as well. Kid friendly - a cute sand pit to play in. Will definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

Amazing beer flavors, great atmosphere for the whole family. Their food truck is out of this world. Definitely my favorite place around. Kid and dog friendly.

Lovely day trip with friends placed us at Big Thorn for lunch. Off the beaten path spot that was worth the drive.
Had chipotle chicken tacos others at the table had sandwiches and a bowl. Very tasty and lovely. Everyone satisfied with their meals. Will make the trip again. Want to see the area in the spring and summer.

In summer, the Tree Bar is gorgeous, and in winter, the Greenhouse bar is cozy and friendly. Bartenders are knowledgeable and the vibe is very neighborhood-local. There's always 3-4 beers i really enjoy. I drive 40m from Champaign at least every month and love being there!

I’ve been to many breweries in the US and abroad and I will have to say that this is one of the best. I’ve never had a bad beer from this place. I’ve seen it grow and improve over the years and can honestly say that other than major breweries you are not going to find a better selection and the quality is just awesome. What about that food truck! Highly recommend.

The atmosphere Anna created at Big Thorn is awesome for friends and family to gather. The uniqueness of the variety of craft beers and the food truck menu makes for a treat from offerings at chain breweries and restaurants.

Great place! The food is very good and they have a large selection of beer and non-alcoholic drinks. Lots of room for kids to run around. Fire pits, picnic tables and outside games to play. The green house is great in the wintertime too. It is cozy and warm.

I'm a fan of outside-oriented breweries and this is just that! The food truck is offering deliciousness that rivals most upscale restaurants within an hour radius.

Don’t miss the opportunity to experience one of the most unique breweries ever. Don’t be fooled by the tap”room” with no walls in the trees. This brewery produces consistently great beer…with amazing variety.
So start a fire in one of the fire pits (using their wood) and relax with amazing food from the Farm to Table food truck and a pint!
