I'm a truck driver parked at the Love's not far from the restaurant. I ordered some food from them today. The tacos were okay but not as good as my hometown Mexican Restaurant El Caminos. What I didn't like was the fact I ordered chips and salsa with my tacos and they gave me a little souffle cup of salsa. They gave me a souffle cup of hot sauce not hot salsa. You know the kind of salsa with chopped onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and peppers. I didn't not some Valentina hot sauce. Plus they didn't put any slices of lime for the Mexican tacos.

Hands down the best Mexican food in the far NW burbs. You must try this place! Seating is limited, and service is chaotic, but the food makes up for it.

Me and my friends wanted to go eat somewhere and we found this place out and took a gamble. The service was excellent, food was delicious. I liked that they had some Mexican candy for free. I found out that the chef is a famous YouTuber because I noticed a YouTube Play button. I highly recommend coming here.

I got the steak Gordita dinner while my boyfriend got the taco dinner. I usually tend to stay near Elgin for Mexican food- but decided to try this place as I was around the area! Very calm place & not too busy. The steak was so tender and the salsas that came with the complimentary chips were also very good! Would come back

The ceviche is very dry and no flavor. Very disappointing after seeing all of their awards. Unfortunately I wouldn’t come back. I had to season my own food and the rice and beans tasted like they came from a can.

For a 11 dollars burrito is half the size of other places. Menus says giant burrito. Not even close. Needs to be 2 times the size fir the money.

Went in there cause my car was getting fixed to the shop next to them and google their reviews before going in n 4.2 n "awards" in 3 consecutive years so u decided to go in.. first red flag .. the chef was my waiter .. chips were super hard.. salsa had no taste n I ordered the taco dinner (pastor , steak, beef tongue ) I asked if the horchata was homemade n he said yes N it wasn't .. it was powdered horchata n all 3 meats had no taste at all well pastor was decent .. I heard the microwave at least 3 times being used n I was the only customer in the restaurant ... the rice was microwaved for sure cause it looked n tasted like sticky rice n I didn't even wanna try the beans plus the restaurant was very cluttered

I have NEVER been disappointed with the perez family! I'm not sure if people realize that these are hands down the best tacos you are going to get west of randall rd. Chef Alex is crafting some of the best foods and dont stop at tacos because just about everything I've tried is great eats!
