Took my sister there ( she visited from Germany) and we went back 2 more times the food , service, atmosphere was great she is looking forward to it again on her next stay

I was very happy with my meal and service from here. The food was tasty and came out quick! I had the strawberry Bellini, double smash burger, and garlic cheese bites and I would recommend it to everyone. Will be coming back!

The place is cool. Has a nice modern farmhouse vibe. Lots of TVs with games on. Big menu. Food was ok. About what to expect. Onion rings were lame. $4.25 for 6-7 frozen junk onion rings. Ok beer selection. But the whiskey selection was amazing!! Blantons. Pappy. Booker. Etc.

Went in for a late dinner at 8:58pm, server finally came over , I asked for a menu she said kitchen closed at 9:00 , time was 9:01 .

Stopped in today 8/16/25 on our daughter’s recommendation. So glad we did. Hands down best service and by far the best food we have had out in quite some time! I ordered pretzel bites and a fish sandwich. Both were absolutely amazing. Pretzel bites were crisp and plentiful. The beer cheese was the best I’ve had and I grew up in Wisconsin! The fish sandwich was absolute perfection. Keep it up, you have lifelong customers with my wife, daughter and I!!

Love this place, so was expecting the brunch food to be better. Most of the items were pre-packaged, so the biscuits were not good. The brunch drinks were nice though.

Moved daughter back to school So wanted to try somewhere new in Edwardsville. Very cool atmosphere, friendly staff. But the food was just OK. I got a bpt and it was as small as the bun and not much flavor. Daughter and wife bought shrimp tacos came with 3 tacos and only 2 mini shrimp on each one and no flavor on this also they both said

Some of the best food, drinks, AND staff there is and that’s not easy to find!! My family and I LOVE the wooden nickel and all it has to offer. Definitely a must see if you aren’t from the area!

The food is just bar stuff and not prepared very well at that!! Food is served on cardboard boats with plastic utensils & plastic drink ware. The location and building are wonderful but the food is not!!
