El Mezquite Mexican Restaurant

Soy muy peculiar con las comidas típicas, no cualquier restaurante puede hacer un buen menudo y el Mezquite lo hace delicioso 😋

Had an elote. Worst elote I’ve ever had. I didn’t even eat one bite. The mayo didn’t seem like mayo, tasted like miracle whip.

Very rich, very pretty, clean, good service. I will return soon

We ordered ahead over the phone and picked up at the store. The tacos had plenty of meat. They have other things to consider, like ice pops. They have plenty of parking, and the food was done within the time given.

I thought the food was okay but the customer service was terrible and the workers had a lot of their friends just hanging out so this place is just full of negative vibes so it doesn't matter if the food is good or not, if you're not comfortable in the atmosphere because the people that are just hanging then that's just a place you should never go☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

Spilled mole. The lady at the front desk was nice enough to give me the managers number I called and his response was he needed to see actual proof physically. I told him that I can send him pictures and he said no he needs me to bring it back spilled in the bag. Ridiculous! I’ve never had a problem with a refund and at this point I didn’t even want one anymore. Manager was very unprofessional gave me an attitude with no solution then clicks the phone. My company will no longer order from them again. Their steak is cheap and the portion is also very small btw. Hope this helps !

I ordered chilaquiles for takeout this morning. They looked and tasted like someone had cut up tortillas and soaked them in red salsa. I wish they were actual chips with some crunch to them. Very disappointed.

Their food is very good and great portions! Only 2 things I that made me take off a star is sometimes they take long to cook the food and the phone etiquacy is poor. I have called to place an order for a later pick up and they threw me on hild for nearly ten minutes when I had a simole question and I had to start work. I did not want to take up most of my lunch to drive there order my food and wait to pick it up. And some of the girls that work there honestly they look like they dread having to work on Wednesdays because of their $1 tacos. Other than that, great place.

Ate here once and split a chicken burrito with a friend. Both of us got food poisoning and were sick for several days.

my wife and I were very excited to try this place out, in terms of food everything was delicious other than the rice, it was salty and did not taste like mexican rice at all and the serving amount matched the price. my only complaint is the cashier, very unfriendly maybe today just wasnt her day but i would like to come by again other than those two things that i noticed. also the enchiladas had way too much cheese for my liking.
