Stopped by 1-4-24 to try there tacos de lengua everyone we know say there amazing. We checked to see what time they close and it says 8pm. We live 30 minutes away so we got there at 7pm and we walked into the grocery store and found the taco stand and it had a strap in the entrance and I asked the waitress if they where closed and she said yes but with a very nasty attitude and I asked I thought you guys closed at 8pm she was like yes but we have to clean that way we leave on time. So we just walked out and left it's not the only place they sell tacos.

Terrible service and even more so if it's 7:30pm because they no longer want to sell you yogurt or corn

bad service....I ordered tacos by phone with specific directions, then we about to eat and opening the our bag.... and no condiments only two spicy sauces ..... I called the store and they offered to replace with 2 tacos.... they said on the store they no going to replace nothing but one taco or water or drink.... so they can keep their taco . I'm not coming back to the store... thanks for bad service

I stopped by to shop for produce. I saw the taco place inside which was unique. I approved the counter to order at 928 am. The manager yelled at me saying not open till 930 ! Quite embarrassing! I nodded okay and apologized. This is why Mexican restaurants struggle. Terrible service. No concept of Customer service. He is a leader ? Sad. Terrible. Failing fast

Taqueria stinks. Store needs a remodel, dirty floors. higher than average prices, beggars greet you before entering store. Do not accept manufacturer coupons/rebates and employees are not friendly. Yuck!

I came here hoping to find some fresh fish, no luck but I probably just didn't see it. Anyways, this review's sole purpose is just to vent how annoyed I am about being charged $2 more for some corned beef that was on sale. I know it's partly my fault for not checking my receipt right away especially after seeing Clerk 067 struggling with scanning it, but normally aren't you supposed to ask the customers too just to confirm the price and not select the highest price of corned beef? I didn't even wanna pay more than $4 for Prego, what makes you think I wanna pay over $6 bucks for corned when I could've gotten a better brand. I could be wrong on this and the product was just priced/placed wrong coz I've noticed that on some other products too. Not sure if i'll be back here again, but if I do it's probably to go to the bakery or try the Taqueria and I'll definitely have to check my receipt at the store! Lol

Wonderful food. This place is a gem. A wonderful store is attached to this food court (In the back). Everything is good, authentic Mexican and fresh.

Ordered for the first time from La Rosita for a party I was having. The food was amazing! We had the chicken and carnitas tacos. Everyone at the party loved the food. Very generous with the condiments. We'll be back!

Love this place. Bakery is so nice. There's a Michoacána ice cream shop and a taco/burrito place inside also, both are great. I am so lucky to be near La Rosita and I appreciate all the hard workers. Thank you.

I have been very disappointed with their bakery! I ordered a cake for my granddaughters baptism and when I went to pick it up they hadn't even started to make it. I vowed I would not go back but my daughter wanted a tres leches cake and theirs is the best. However, the design I ordered is nothing like what I ordered. Taste was great though.

This grocery store is a gem! Absolutely wonderful and truly authentic. We felt the prices were good, too. Fresh produce and a taco bar as well as a bakery with fresh churros and the best donuts I've ever had. We're lucky to have this great option nearby.

If you find yourself grocery shopping at La Rosita, you must pay a visit to their taqueria. The tacos are so full you can make 2 out of 1. Tried the asada, al pastor, and chicharron. All were good. Next time I'll have to try the lengua and barbacoa.

They have a restaurant in back with the best tasting tacos ever! The food is made in the most in-house authentic Mexican way. You can tell that all sauces, meats and veggies are freshly made that day & the cook does not hesitate to make them with plenty so you don't feel lacking in any ingredients. I don't go anywhere else for tacos anymore. Don't miss a chance to stop in for a bite. You won't regret it!

La Rosita is one of the best Hispanic grocery stores in Illinois! Dont let the grocery store part fool you! Besides having good produce and selection of meats, they have a delicious bakery and an AMAZING little restaurant in the back of the store. Stop in here even if you don't want to dine-in and take the food to go! The food is fresh, hot and flavored so good! I recommend their carnitas, Steak and the Al Pastor. Even the rice and beans are decent for this being inside of a grocery store!! Authentic food at a great price. They don't skimp ether, they make sure your tacos are filled. 2 tacos alone you will be full!

Been coming for years. Authentic Mexican food. Reminds me of Jalisco Guadalajara. So rich in flavor. The best carnitas ever.
