Only get to the Chicago area a couple times a year, but this was a very disappointing trip to Portillo’s. I got the combo and cheese fries. The sausage in the combo was overcooked and there was very little beef in it compared to previous visits. Also, the fries were burnt and only half way decent when heavily dipped in the cheese sauce.

Just want to say Mary the GM here went above and beyond with a issue uber eats created. Her professionalism in handling the issue was fantastic and will always be coming back to this location!

Portillo's always impresses with its fast and efficient service! Orders are taken promptly, and food is prepared very quickly, which is especially nice when you need a quick bite on the go. The dishes are always fresh, tasty, and meet expectations. A great spot for a delicious and quick lunch!

This location is the best in the area. I had a really bad experience with the Naperville location. Love the option to order at a kiosk and our order was made right away. The only complaint I had was that the person calling the orders over the mic seemed to be whispering so we didn't know our order was ready. Also they didn't give us utensils but that wasn't horrible. Inside was also very clean.

Kid-friendliness: Would be nice if pasta side had kid meals.

This place is always packed. I usually use the drive-through, which is crowded but run efficiently with actual people taking your order. I like this location because, unlike the Downers Grove location, you can get pasta.

Hot dogs, sausage are awesome. The beef seems to be getting less tasty over the years (bland). Rosati's is my new beef stop, sorry but it is what it is.
