We love Schnitzel Platz!! Feels like Oktoberfest year round. Love the live music, the ambiance and the friendly staff. Special shout out to Leo, the bartender! We had a nice time chatting with him before we were seated for dinner. Food was great, as always.

The food was good but a little different from what we are used to. The Pork Shank and the Pork Tenderloin was very good. Enjoyed the Liver Dumpling soup and the German Potato salad. The bread dumplings and the green beans were OK. Enjoyed a bock beer and the wine along with the entertainment. We will definitely go back to try some of their other offerings.

The menu is authentically German- I went with my husband who lived there for 40 years. The bretzel with obatzda was really good. The cordon bleu came with a gravy sauce which was a bit unusual, but he enjoyed it. Would love to see a Käsespatzle option for the vegetarians.
At the end of the meal, the accordion player, Eddie, came over to our table with two shots of apple liquor- unfortunately it was apparently a “man thing“ and he cheered with my husband instead of offering it to a woman (me). Not the best way to end our first experience there…

Fantastic lunch specials! We had chicken with a peppercorn mushroom sauce over Rosti and I cannot stop raving about it.
We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the singing accordion player. It was a fun, enjoyable evening.

At 5:15 on a Saturday night, it was relatively quiet and not many people. We put our orders in quickly. During the next 99 minutes it got very busy, music was loud and service very slow. We got our food over an hour after ordering. Food was good but not hot. It could've sat in the kitchen awhile. Flagged down the server and his response was “yes?” I said how are we doing and then he said he just got buzzed. Then we got our food. Overall, good food but slow service. J

Very lively, energetic, mead-hall vibes! Live music and MC Extremely kid friendly! Family style dinning available... The whole restaurant sang Happy Birthday 5-6 times within the hour of getting our food served and us finishing our meal. So many special memories made here!
