I recently ordered two Biriyani Trays and I and Dum ka chicken The biryani was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. The portion were generous, and the Dum ka chicken was equally fantastic.Highly recommend!”

I have compared the biryani from this place with the best places in Hyderabad, India and Shaahi Biryani Is still unbeatable! I can confidently say that, Chicago has better biryani than what we get these days in Hyderabad, India.

Best Biryani in Chicago. I always make sure to visit this place for Haleem and Biryani. Highly recommend their authentic hyderabadi biryani

Overall good taste, but mutton was dry and the take out portion is cut in half compared to sitting inside!
We noticed a strong smell of stale oil immediately upon entry. The biryani had little meat in it, the chicken tikka had breast pieces even though waiter had said it would have thigh meat. Added 14% gratuity but still presented the tipping screen to us which caused us to tip an additional 15%.
Recommend owners take a deep look at why they are in this business and if they actually like it.

Great food and service. Had the butter paneer, chicken, biryani, garlic naan and vegetable samosa. Everything was great. Loved the sauce for samosa and garlic naan was so fresh.

One of my favorite places for Indian carry out, but I don't order often because the prices are high for each dish and you have to order rice or Naan/roti separately so it adds up fast. The accompaniments that come with dishes are sparse and they do not give raita, unless you order it & if you want a large size it's so expensive. They also give you a hard time if you ask for anything. Very annoying.
I have dined in a number of times and it's never been a good experience. Service is, at most, proficient. Even picking up carry out here is a chore. It's often not ready at the promised time or ready but gets cold waiting for someone to bring it out of the kitchen. I expect to stand there awkwardly for a bit every time I go. They need better systems in place & more training.
That all being said, the food is the best Indian/Pakistani food in the area and I've eaten my way through this menu. The only thing I didn't care for is the haleem and the desserts are pointlessly small.
*****
Best things to order:
Lamb chops
Any briyani + raita (I recommend you just make your own or plain Greek yogurt)
Any briyani + daal tadka
Daal tadka + white rice + beef sheek kabob
Dum ka chicken + garlic naan
Channa Masala + any naan or bread
(a little spicy, but good heat. Good in a mixed order with other things.)
Beef sheek kabobs roll
Beef Nihari + buttered naan

The food was OK. Ordered family pack Mutton Biryani as recommended by one of the servers. Had a lot of cinnamon flavor and not even enough for 3 people.
Heard a lot of positive reviews of this place, so wanted to try it, but didn't meet the expectation.

Mutton biryani’s taste was not up to the mark. There was a lot of cinnamon taste and smell in it. Also the quantity seemed very less for the family pack.

The food came out super quick! The Goat Haleem was very tasty(we finished it mins after it came out). The Mutton Biryani was on the blander side BUT the meat was super tender!!

“The biryani at this restaurant is absolutely delicious – the flavor and spice balance are spot on, and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time. However, I did notice several times that the meat had an unpleasant smell, almost as if it wasn’t washed or cleaned thoroughly. This really took away from an otherwise amazing dish. I truly hope the restaurant can address this issue because their food has great potential.”
