I would have been inclined to return to this establishment, but the manager's demeanor was decidedly inhospitable. The manager is rude. I sat down, ordered cranberry juice, and then requested a substitution with lemonade, as the juice had an unpleasant taste. The manager approached me and inquired about the issue. We had some time in between baseball games at the Ho Chunk facility and decided to come here for breakfast. The restaurant is not the biggest, but they were able to accommodate nine of our players and their families! We were in and out in a reasonable time and all of the food was excellent! I didn't catch the waitresses name who served all of us, but she was amazing and all of our food came out hot and accurate, which is impressive. Dion's Breakfast Cafe is a small, cozy restaurant with a family-friendly atmosphere, located in a strip plaza with a large parking lot. The menu offers simple, delicious meals. The country skillet is a must-try, topped with biscuits and gravy, and also comes with pancakes. They also offer cheesecake bites with banana pudding. The atmosphere was awesome, and the service was excellent, warm & friendly. Dion's is a hidden gem with a nice place, very clean, and the menus were clean and in great condition. They have seating for 2 or 4, with booths for 4. They were a bit busy, but had some tables available that they rearranged to accommodate us and we were seated within 5 minutes. The food was so good and the coffee was on point. The food portions were perfect. They have an excellent selection of menu items to choose from, including lunch. The chicken wild rice soup is some of the best. Dion's Breakfast Cafe is a charming addition to the local dining scene.
