Every time I go to the restaurant I have a wonderful time. I love the cuisine and friendly service. It’s an amazing place to have any type of private event. Decorations are also always beautiful.

I wish you were able to give no stars because this establishment deserves a zero. I wanted to give my daughter a 13th birthday party in a nice establishment. Now, when you first meet Easter she comes off as a professional business women that has her business intact. But, that was not the case. On the day of my daughters party, it was suppose to be 3pm -7pm. I was suppose to have an 1 hour of setup time, which was suppose to be at 2pm. That did not happen, her so called staff that includes her husband and son came well over half hour late. Then, when I got into the establishment it was filthy. We had to come in and clean the establishment before we could setup and cleaned the establishment after the party. This was the worst experience that I have ever encountered with an establishment, and this was a learning experience as well of what not to do. Think twice before you rent this establishment for anything!Worst Establishment Ever!

I never leave negative reviews on a business. However, my sister and I's experience at Easter Cuisine was deplorable. My sister booked this location 2 weeks before our party on 3/12 @ 3 pm. The night before or event, we confirmed with the owner that our 2 pm setup time is still good via text. On the day of the party at 2 pm, the business was closed. My sister contacted the owner. She said someone was on the way to let us in. We sat outside until 20 mins to 3 pm. The party scheduled time to start was at 3 pm. Once we entered the event space, it was filthy. None of the tables was set up per our contract. Nothing was swept, mopped, or wiped down. We had to help clean the space while we were setting up. I even cleaned the bathroom to make sure our guest was comfortable. I would not recommend Easter Cuisine to anyone. I hate to post negative reviews because this is a black-owned business. But you have to do better!

I rented Easters cuisine in December 2021 for a repast and she was very professional she responded promptly and I received my deposit back.I had no bad complaints from none of my family/Friends in fact they all ready to rent out the place for events.We will be renting in April for my sister's birthday party and In July. I visited this spot because I love soul food this restaurant is a cozy spot in the south suburb of Glenwood ,IL the food was delicious the staff was lovely and it was a nice atmosphere . I also visited on a karaoke nite in which I love to sing and I had a blast. I would definitely recommend checking out this hidden Gem .

Unfortunately, I was the first guinea pig to rent out the space. Once the contract was signed it seemed as if everything would be OK. The day of the event felt extremely rushed because I had to be out by 6 PM, before I left I asked the owner if there was anything else I needed to do before I left, I want to make sure I get my deposit. I did a walkthrough making sure everything was in decent order. She responded no…..ok cool. Per contract I was supposed to sign a form I did not get a form to sign before I left so that’s that……….Deposit Tuesday rolls around…..I reached out via text requesting my hundred dollar deposit back…. I called a couple hours later, there was no response maybe about four hours. Clearly she did not intend to return my deposit. She finally responds stating that there was a breach in my contract: the garbage wasn’t taken out OK you got me there and there was glitter everywhere OK I asked you if there was anything I needed to do….the response was No. When we arrived at the location we walked through the door; no tables or chairs were set up. I asked if I could use the PA system (in the contract) to me a PA system is a microphone and a speaker she told me that the microphone was not in a contract. Please tell me what the definition of a PA system is to you all. I brought my own Bluetooth speaker and my own microphone which was a major inconvenience as well. When we arrived the owner and her daughter had to set up the tables and chairs around 12:58pm when we were supposed to be setting up promptly at 1 o’clock very unprofessional. So not only did she get the money per hour she kept my deposit and I was extremely inconvenienced. Please don’t make the same mistake I made utilize a vendor somewhere else. This is a black on business that WILL rob and steal from you, it’s your choice though. No stars at all!!!
