It's a cement floored event venue now. Food was good but the venue sucks.

First time dining in since remodeling & new management . Pick up & catering services are wonderful also. This location remains a great place to go for excellent food.

We had Niko as our sever and he was a delight. He know that menu backwards and forward considering only being there a short period of time.He answered any an all question. He also took the time to interact with us with fun conversation. We had such a great time enjoying our dinner.

This used to be a great restaurant, now it's just plain terrible, I don't understand the whole restaurant design either. The ribs are terrible, the chicken parmigian was even worse. They need to close the restaurant portion down and just be a private venue spot. This is all probably moot though, I heard that some village officials are not pleased with the financial arrangement that was made with the new owner and the village for the remodel. Either way, sell or close it down.

Nikko, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We had lemon chicken with rice and vegetables and barbecue ribs with honey chicken. Both were excellent. I’ll definitely go back.

Ordered twice once on The 14th and once again on the 24th. Both orders included French onion soup which I was billed but never received. Tried for a week to call the restaurant the voice mail was full . After trying to inform Glenwood Oaks of my situation, I ordered again, and it happened again. Was billed $8.00 each time for the soup, $16.00 total.Called and outgoing message asked for my # to return my call. Never got a callback! Now, I either want the Two orders of soup, or the $16.00 refunded on my credit card please

I have been going to Glenwood Oaks since I was an infant. What they have done to this place is nothing less than a crime. Glenwood Oaks was once one of the few jewels of the south side. It had wonderful food with great prime rib and seafood. It was elegant and sophisticated. Beautiful seasonal décor, classy bunch, it was the perfect upscale establishment. Now it looks like a ghetto strip club and a low rent casino had a child who isn't sure if it's wedding venue or an automotive shop. I've driven my car into classier places for oil changes. I have included two photos. They are of the SAME ROOM, at very similar camera angles, one from many years ago and one from recently. Yes, there is literally a wall of the dining room made from garage doors. Who ever did this to this place makes me wish it was sill legal for mobs to tar and feather people.

Bad business. I ordered a meal online 1/10/24. Received confirmation of order with order ready time. Went to location and Glenwood Oaks was closed. I am still getting the run around about the situation with Glenwood Oaks. Contacted credit card company, watching and waiting to see of payment will post. Called Oaks on 1/11/24. Was told have to speak to manager, who was not there. So unprofessional.

Hi, my name is Deborah. I was there on December 22nd, 2023, for a birthday party. The service was great. I ordered the lamb chops. They were off the chain, and I mean, they were very good. I had enough to take home and have them my for lunch. The following day you go, Glennwood oaks.

The ambience of the restaurant has declined significantly. It's now a big empty building. The chicken is still good, and the staff seem to have potential, but the owners need to decide on the future of this once great establishment. Hopefully they bring it back to life.

The heat didn’t work for the first day and the water from the toilet pipe leaked onto the floor in front of the sink so the floor was slippery. Our room phone also didn’t work. The staff fixed the heat and phone. They were friendly and knowledgeable.

The management/owner of this place is absolutely the worst, please don’t waste your time supporting this company. They are not honest and try to beat people out of their money. If my family had known this they would have never used them as a venue for a party. They lied about the space, the party was elegant and they used paper napkins instead of linen. Stay away from this place.Parking: They booked an unexpected party, there was no parking

Came here with friends for Taco Tuesday. The tacos were great, but the service was bad. Only two ladies are working. So we waited a while for drinks and food .
