While the food was delicious, the service was horrible. Even though there were only two other people in restaurant when we arrived and there were multiple staff at front counter talking, we waited over 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us, let alone take our order. Drinks were not brought out at same time. Very disappointing

I got served COLD CHICKEN WINGS. They were done on the outside but ICE COLD on the inside. I had the waitress touch them and she was as shocked as us and agreed. Then she said i will have them put back in. I immediately said no thanks i don't want them anymore and for me to do that is HUGE!! I LOVE WINGS!! Two things that was obvious to me is that the grease was to hot and cooked the outside or they weren't thawed completely and properly. ONE THING YOU DON'T DO IS SERVE ANYONE RAW OR UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN. And to pour a little salt on the wound, my wife's mushrooms (if you want to call them that, more breading than mushrooms)were burnt! And they were supposed to be portabellas but they obviously weren't.
Makes me wonder if the same grease was used?.....

My husband and I have been going to Joe’s pizza in Godfrey ever since it opened. For the first few years the pizza was spectacular. Ordered bacon and black olive and it came with plenty of toppings with no need to order extra anything. Then the next few years it was hit or miss. We weren’t getting the same quality of pizza. Toppings grew sparse and we started to order the pizza with extra cheese because when you opened the box and looked at the pizza the cheese was nonexistent. As I said the pizzas were hit or miss, with more misses than hits. I’m not sure how you can order a pizza with extra cheese and the pizza comes with 3 to four pieces without any cheese and have hardly any toppings. My husband even stated this issue when ordering and it still had several pieces with barely any cheese or toppings. Such a shame because we are fans, but this might be our last Joe’s pizza

The driver was given the wrong address. The pizza was suppose to be here in 45 minutes. It has been 1 hour and no pizza yet. Odds are it is cold when it gets here. Do not recommend.

Third time in a row the pizza has been over proofed and tough as cardboard. The food used to be great. Sat at the carry out window waiting to be acknowledged…pushed the buzzer….sat there for 10 minutes..,had multiple people look directly at me and walk away. At the point where I won’t be going back.

Always good...but this delivery they forgot our chips and put chocolate sauce on the big cookie 🍪...and there have been times when we ordered the pasta and it didn't have enough sauce on it, but that was a long time ago during Covid lockdown....but other than that, it is pretty perfect! Love them!

Ordered two full Italian Beefs with Au Jus on the side and fries for take out. Was told the Au Jus on the side was standard procedure for beef sandwiches. When I was handed my to-go order I double checked with the hostess that the au jus was included and was told yes. Got home and you guessed it -- no au jus. Just two very dry Italian Beefs. I had to go back to the restaurant to get the au jus. The two small cups I was given barely wet half of the sandwiches we ordered. The beefs were barely warm (partly because of having to return to the restaurant, but I doubt they were very hot to begin with).
The Italian Beef tasted like dry shredded pot roast on a bun with giardiniera. My husband and I only ate half our sandwiches. Definitely would NOT recommend Joe's Italian Beef.
Unprofessional language from the 20-something year old hostess. Every comment said to me was infused with "sugar" and "sweetie" as though she was talking to a two year old. I found it very condescending, unprofessional and disrespectful. Train your staff to reserve the "sugar" and "sweetie" comments for the children who patronize your restaurant.
Joe's was a restaurant we had been meaning to try since moving to Godfrey. It was a huge disappointment.

I have loved Joe's for years. The pasta Pomodoro has been my absolute favorite. I got take out yesterday for my son, my elderly grandmother, and myself. It was extremely disappointing as my pasta had SOOOOOOO much pepper in it my lips were on fire and my grandmother's boneless wings were way too crispy that I had to take off all the breading for her to eat it.
