We got the special "217 Burger Week" pb&j burgers for dinner last night. We agreed that these were some of the MOST DELICIOUS burgers we'd ever eaten!!! Just amazing. We are really hoping you continue to serve these even after burger-week has come and gone. Highly recommend to anyone!

Best Burger in town hands down! They've gotten a little pricey, but it's great food.

Very good famous Burger. It is a Smashburger very small for a single I suggest double or triple. Great place and good ice cream and Shakes. Only problem is they make your shake when they take your order it is very hot back behind that counter by the time your order comes up it is no longer a frozen shake it is flavored ice cream water. I have tried this three or four times now giving them the benefit of the doubt and three out of four times it was flavored ice cream water. Other than that little pricey and little longer wait in the afternoon. But still a very good burger

My wife and I decided to try the food as our Son said he tried it about a week ago and it was really good. We went in the restaurant and ordered our food and waited for it to be cooked fresh which was fine. We received our order #69 on August 29th. Got home the fries were great soda was great food was hot but the hamburgers were absolutely terrible the meat was flavorless and almost like loose meat could not tell the double from the triple burger. Called the restaurant and the young lady offered to remake the burgers. And she did I went and picked up the fresh burgers and she told me they had recently received new meat. Went home and sorry it was terrible. I would suggest going back to beef without all the fillers.

The hamburger meat had a weird texture to it, just very mushy and flavorless so it didn't taste like I was eating real hamburger meat patties.The fries were okay but the onion rings were burnt. I'm very disappointed I wanted to like this place since it had such great reviews and has been around for decades.

I have lived here since 1985 and my wife was born here. This was our first time at Krekel's. My wife had the toasted cheese sandwich with fries and a Pepsi. I had the double hamberger with onions and a large chocolate shake. The food was excellent, The hamburger from the flat top grill was a good old fashion crispy burger right out of my childhood. But the noise inside was terrible. The person sweeping the floor constantly banged the tables and chairs so loudly that we couldn't have a conversation. The blaring radio and other noise from the kitchen only exacerbated the noise level.

Vegetarian options: The toasted cheese sandwich is the only vegetarian option aside from fies and onion rings.
