Applebee's Grill + Bar

I usually come once a week for a quick and easy dinner. But tonight that was not the case, it took 15 minutes for the waitress to even acknowledge us. We then ordered our drinks and an appetizer. It took 20 mins for that to arrive. We then ordered our food. It took over an hour for us to start to get the food our table had ordered. By that point we said we would like box’s. They hadn’t finished the steak skillet yet so they were to box that in the back. My mistake maybe but I should have checked the bag after being assured everything was in there. I get home and that was not the case. I was missing both sides. I called and went back to get them. I arrive back home thinking maybe I could finally eat after almost 2 hours. I cut open my steak to find that it’s still raw all through the middle. Not anywhere near where I asked it to be. A waste of 60$. I am very understanding places get busy. But when the waitress herself says ya it’s not busy out here and they have a 48 minute cook time per table something needs to give

I sat waiting on food for hour hour an half waiting on a main course with 30 minutes of a wait just for appetizers.. I ask lady for check an to go boxes for our food as they finally got done pay an even leave a 10 dollar tip an go home as we got home the food was some how cold an had none of the sides with them food an the steak was Raw worst service an experience I've ever had here before an the sad part is they weren't busy at all more than half the place was empty

Ordered carside to go. Pulled up three minutes before my time. They came out, took my name, said it would be just a couple more minutes. Which was fine I was a little early. But 30 minutes goes by and when I called to find out what was going with my order the girl had no idea and had to go and find the to-go girl to box up my food. We got our food cold and my burger and fries were chewy and disgusting. They were also missing things. I'm willing to be the to-go waitress forgot about my order until I called and it sat in the window and died. My daughter works at the Applebee's in Wood River as the to-go waitress and this would never be acceptable with her. This was a waste of 60 dollars. We will not be returning.

She seemed slightly overwhelmed but her effort was top notch and she was so nice to my family the entire time.

Ordered on the app. App says order will be ready at 7:13pm, my husband arrived at 7:16pm, order was not brought out to the car until 7:30pm. He doesn’t like the “garden” on his burger, I ordered it plain, of COURSE they don’t listen and give him the burger with the “garden”. My husband called around 8pm to see if he could get a replacement burger, the ToGo person said they were VERY busy and she would have a manager call back. I ended up calling back at 9:40pm the manager had never been notified. But, 3 hours later and my husband finally has dinner. I spoke too soon, his burger was raw we ordered well done. I’m over it. lol

I wouldn't serve the food that they served me and my guest to a dog ,they remade the food for us and it came back worser than what we sent back , do better Applebee's

Ordered dinner for family, nachos and a couple DOUBLE cheeseburger meals, the double burgers were actually a single burger broke into 3 pieces and stacked, nacho’s were just as horrible, all the beef was dried out and hard, MAYBE edible for a dog, wasted $60, first time we’ve eaten there in several years and it hasn’t changed, only part keeping them alive has to be the bar because they can’t cook a steak, can’t cook a burger, not worth the risk to try the chicken and be sick!!
