The worker was rude from the moment we walked in the door. He acted bothered to have to take our order. Food came quickly. It was not fresh at all. Our biscuits had red ink all over them. It appeared to be transferred from their paper they line the baskets with. Won't be returning here.

This place is a daycare dude had like 3 little kids with him taking orders gonna be funny if your kid gets hurts he was rude to me KFC needs better managers they all in there making your company fall apart store all dirty and stinky Seats all nasty and ripped stay away at all cost ...Dude was more worried about who was going into the bathroom more then his kid getting fried in a fryer...

I stopped going here because while I love their fries, the texture my last few visits was like they were warmed up old ones. After a few months I decided to give them another try and just not order the fries. I ordered 2pc wing and breast original with coleslaw. Once I pulled up and paid, I was asked to pull into a parking space and someone would bring my food right out. I get 30 minutes for lunch. Chicken is usually quick but after no one came out with my order for 15 minutes, I got out of my car and went inside. I was informed that someone “should” have told me they were out of original but it’d be done in about 3 minutes and asked if I got my drink yet. I told him no and he handed me a cup to make it myself. I guess I should just be grateful it wasn’t sitting already made and melting down. My paid receipt was generated at 4:28pm. I finally got my food at 4:50 giving me less than 10 minutes to get back to work and eat. You could have told me the wait would be that long or offered the crispy chicken as a substitute or the option to order something else. They threw in a ind mashed potatoes, perhaps as a peace offering but put it on top of my coleslaw making it warm when I went to eat it. The gravy was off, making the gift inedible and the chicken was so greasy it just felt like a wasted $11 as the soda was the only thing decent. Chicken dinner is a 2-3 napkin meal, I saturated 3 napkins and it took 3 more to get my hands dry. Pics are of saturated napkins and wax paper visibly full of grease that was in the box. I usually won’t write a negative review on a restaurant unless I’ve had multiple bad experiences. Save yourself the trouble. Lee’s is superior in service, taste and not being greasy. I will give the crew credit for being humble and apologetic and special thanks to the nice man inside reminding me to not let this ruin my day. While I was clearly upset, I wasn’t throwing a “Karen” tantrum or anything. The man inside just knew my time constraints were stressing me out. Honest reviews are the only way to improve and I really hope y’all do! This was a terrible experience though and I’ll spend my money elsewhere going forward.

The Granite City KFC has always had very good food anytime that I went there, whether it was day, evening or night. They have a good speaker that you can hear people when they'retalking to you about your order, and all of their menu is on avery nice and well litboard that you caneasily see when you're deciding what you want to buy.

I grew up in granite City and KFC was my favorite place. I went back yesterday May 14th 2024.. I was appalled service was very very slow I stood at the counter for at least 5 to 10 minutes. The lobby floor looks like the original floor. When you walked across the floor, your feet stuck to the floor in the lobby. Nasty. Food was hot and delicious. The bathroom and door leading to the kitchen is black with filth. Don't think I'll be back! Damn shame!!!

The chicken nuggets were the worse I've ever had. Heck McDonald's nuggets are better and I don't even like McDonald's nuggets. The fries looked a day old. I will be never eat there again

Service was fine. Food quality was terrible. Never received a response back from management regarding the food quality. I was really looking forward to KFC. I ordered online. I picked up the food about 5 mins after I ordered, got home, opened up the bag, and was completely disappointed. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The corn was so old the kernels had shriveled up and turned that strange brownish color. The mashed potatoes were so old the potatoes had soaked up the brown color from the gravy. The macaroni and cheese and Cole slaw seemed ok. The part that gets me is I never heard a response from management.
