I’ve been here before and in the past the service wasn’t the best — I often felt like I was being met with an attitude and even charged extra for sweet and sour sauce when ordering multiple boxes of rice.
This time was a completely different experience. The rice was delicious, the service was great, and the lady who helped me was kind, polite, and even gave me extra sauce without hesitation. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was excellent.
I’m really happy with how much better the service has gotten, and I’ll definitely be coming back more often!

No dine in since pre COVID. Lol. You don't go to a place like this for atmosphere, you go because the 90 year old Chinese guy smoking on the back step is low key the best cook in the area and can make magic in a wok...Look forward to it every time I'm in Granite.

If you want some good fried rice just take that drive across the bridge to STL. There’s plenty of places to pick from that’s better. This place is ok if you absolutely don't want to drive to stl. There’s no flavor to the rice and it has a weird after taste. I ordered two whole orders of rice and didn’t receive any complimentary sweet and sour sauce and was only able to buy $1 worth for TWO WHOLE BOXES OF RICE. But the quality of food compared to the price does not add up to me. I would not recommend.

Has the cook recently changed? I got some rice this Saturday 3-29-25 and the rice was not as good as it has been! I may have to switch to a different restaurant!
Maybe one of the best St.Pauls I ever had, and that's saying a lot. It has the perfect amount of salt added at the end. The fried rice is good, too. I come from Stl to Illinois to get it. That's how good it is..
