Common Grounds Cafe & Pie Shop

Common Grounds is an amazing small town coffee shop with great customer service and excellent pies! Locally roasted coffee, made from scratch soups, pies, baked goods, lunches, breakfasts, grab and go freezers and fridges.

This was my first time in since their massive remodel. Loved it. Hidden treasure on Rt 24! Not only is the inside clean and lovely...but the outdoor space is exceptional too:) Try it!!

Plus you can buy whole meals to take home and prepare in your oven...casseroles, quiche, pie and more...I won't have to drive to Goodfield now everytime I want pie! Renewed fan!

This coffee shop is incredible.
You would expect a place like this in downtown Chicago or San Francisco not in the small town.
I'm just speechless, and it's not just coffee they got food and merchandise.
I highly recommend it.

*The* place to stop in Gridley. Good food, great drinks. The chai latte is my go-to. Everyone is friendly and the service is quick. Plus the atmosphere is cool and the shop is so cute. Very chic.

The Food here is all grown fresh!! Im from FL, and the food I ate here was so good and healthy, that I got a literal raw energy boost after eating their food! its made from love, and fresh ingredients!

Worth the trip . We on occasion will load the family up for the half hour drive up there. Food is always delicious. I’m not a coffee guy but the smoothies are more than delightful.
It’s our favorite place, the atmosphere is inviting - the owners are always welcoming -
Would go broke if we lived closer because I’m confident we would be there every day !

Also more than Willing to fight anyone who leaves a poor rating . ?

I went there today first time ever. what can I say it was amazing! awesome breakfast sandwich the biscuit so good and soft. iced coffee was delicious. friendly staff highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, nice people. Coffee OK, but to get a decent latte you need to order extra expresso or it tastes like flavored milk. Food is good for the most part but portions extremely small for the price. I ordered a fruit cup advertised as assorted fruit and berries for 7.95. It was a very small cup that consisted of about 2 diced strawberries and a handful of blueberries. I even asked if that was the correct size because I was so shocked. Coffee and bakery prices are average, but food definitely high for what you get.

We officially made it into Common Grounds in Gridley today for lunch. I should have taken a picture of all of our food! We have had some of their baked goods at Crafted before and a couple other events but this was our first time at this lovely little coffee/ lunch shop! Everything we had was SOOO good. I am thankful we don't live closer as this would be a problem! Highly recommend making the 25 minute drive. It is worth every penny and it was a beautiful day for a drive in the country!We all sampled each other's food but all were excellent! We had:-Chili and the fluffiest cornbread with honey butter.-Pulled pork with homemade Mac and cheese-bisquits and gravy-BBQ chicken /ranch pizza on super thin crust-white choc mocha-peach tea-mango smoothiePlus toll house pie and blackberry lemonade pie! The lemon was perky just how my husband loves it!The owner Katrina is so sweet and we told her over and over again how amazing everything was! We wish we had something this amazing in Bloomington but the drive out to Gridley is totally worth it!Damon kept saying over and over how impressed he was with common ground, he wants to go weekly!
