We were out on bikes and stopped in on our way home. Very friendly atmosphere. We laughed and carried on with the locals and had a grand time. Definitely going to stop back

A quiet old timey bar in a quiet old timey town, Gridley. I have a lot of very fond memories in Gridley and knowing this is the only place to get real pizza in Gridley, I made it a bucket list item to pass through and try it. Unfortunately I made one of my final visits to Gridley on Sunday, May 18, 2025, but I still did finally try Fat Albert’s. The pizza was delicious and so rich and flavorful that I could only eat two slices before I was full and brought the rest home for leftovers. It was so impressed. Even when inside the bar, the owner was super polite and friendly. It’s all quiet and nothing bad to report. (Written 5-25-25)

Great bar and grill. Burger was delicious. You need to stop if you're in the area.
First time, passing through. Server wasn’t very friendly, seemed annoyed by menu questions. Also, only one person working bar and all tables so a little slow getting order taken and check. Burgers were decent, nicely cooked. For bar food though, overpriced. Soda available in cans only. A kitschy, quaint local bar… fun for stopping one time!
