Went to the chicken dip today for a burger and it wasn’t fully cooked!! I’m pregnant!!! And it’s definitely not good for pregnant woman to eat that!

My wife and I stopped in for some chicken dinners and dessert. Service was good. Prices very reasonable. Dinner included chicken, a roll, fries, and coleslaw. Chicken was hot, fresh, and moist, but otherwise average. Fries were crispy but very, very bland. It was a beautiful night to sit outside at one of the picnic tables, which was very nice. Altogether dinner was fine-- we were satisfied but not blown away. Dessert was a hot caramel sundae and a chocolate shake. Both were very good, and again reasonably priced.

Best chicken I’ve had in a while.. possibly ever. I can’t go back to kfc or Popeyes now it won’t be the same 😂 the coleslaw was insanely good. Milkshakes were great too
Only downside to this place is the fact that I live 17 hours away

I stopped in today after seeing about you on TikTok and it was amazing. The burger really brought back memories of going to corner grills in the Chicago area thirty years ago. It was definitely worth the 30 minute drive, I will be back and I will bring my kids with next time!

I have been going here since the 1970s, and times may change, but this has stayed the same. A real treasure!
2 adults and 3 kids costed just shy of $70. No appetizers, just a sandwich and drink each. Same quality as your average school lunch. It wasn't horrible, but I expected a better price for what we got or more for the price we did pay.

The locals were great. They only accept cash so we could only get the special without going across the street to the gas station ATM. But locals love the broasted chicken and definitely getting it next time we are out that way. Food was great!

This place could care less about their customers. Ordered over phone and when I got there said cash only. It’s not like their prices are cheaper by not accepting credit/debit. A sign says cash station at gas station. If you insist on cash for some odd reason that the rest of the world doesn’t know about how about having a cash station in the restaurant. Well there’s an idea!! Won’t be back, not worth the hassle as the food is just so so…
