Food is limited for vegetarians, but good. Grilled jalapeños are way overpriced for getting just four and having the sauce smashed into them, resulting in the bottom one’s cheese completely sticking to the above jalapeños. Will never order again.
My fiancé got the Smokehouse combo and said this place has the best bbq he’s ever had, hands-down. He’s big into bbq and particular with his meats - we asked the waitress, Sarah, where Copper Barrel gets their meat and she said from the butcher next door. This butcher also sells to restaurants in downtown Chicago on the “mag mile.” I got the smokehouse chicken which was literally half of a chicken and it was pretty good. The few dishes I will eat have been good.
The service has either been excellent or terrible, no in-between. I doubt I'll go back unless it's somebody else's night to choose the restaurant.
