Think twice before placing mobile order

I placed a mobile order for a late night pickup and proceeded to the store. When I got to the store I was told through the speaker that their mobile ordering is down and they only will take cash. They refused to help me with the order I already paid for on the McDonald’s app. These people were not customer focused. I understand maybe their system is down but they could have easily made it right by looking at my mobile order receipt and making me my order. Instead they only offered “our mobile order is down we only take cash”.

I am now out money, rewards points, no food, and wasted time and wasted gas.

If your system is down why were mobile orders being accepted in the app? I’ve seen other McDonald’s shut down mobile ordering, why didn’t this location ? Is it training or operational issue ?
Why was my card charged? When will I get my money and my rewards points used back?

I did leave a message with the corporate okeefe phone number on the window and will give them a chance to respond, if they do of course I will update.

Edit: I see response from owner asking for me to contact them, I left a message at the number the same night leaving my name and number and never received a call back. I’m not chasing them for them to do the right thing.

Don’t go to the second window when they tell you to wait for your order. I waited 17 minutes for two hot chocolates at the second window and when I’m trying to honk and then finally knock on the window, he asked what I’m waiting for. So they’re not only bumped my order off the screen so there Times look good they forgot my order. My husband had to go inside and speak with a manager who apologized and gave us two warm cups of milk with whipped cream on it. We get it home not only is it not hot and it’s not even warm. It’s like lukewarm Whipped cream was not even melted for five minutes away,

The workers there have a stank attitude and its always the old lady at night even the young girls working there i go to this specific mcdonalds because its close to home i always get attitude its gotten to the point where if i REALLY HAVE TO GO to that specific mcdonalds i dread going because i know im getting my food with attitude and i have gone to plenty other mcdonalds and none of them treat me the way this one does DO BETTER.

The service at the drive thru was really aggressive and the lady seemed really upset with us but the lady that handed us our food was really nice

This McDs was our favorite in the area but not sure what is going on. Now they get the orders wrong all the time and food tastes horrible. Sucks that it is not the same.

The food was okay, but the restaurant was clearly understaffed and the space needed better cleaning.

They have a play place for kids kind of big . My daughter love it played with kids .

Food is just edible at its best. Kids like it for some reason. I miss back in the day they had character, sitting on burgers fiberglass trees along with all the different characters.

I am 3 mnts away from the restaurant and just because it got cold and we are getting the first snow of the year i decided to order delivery food so I don't go out ,however went I received my order i realize that I should go in person and order my food fresh like I always do because otherwise this store they will give you they oldest and coldest food they have if you don't order it fresh ..so the delivery guys did it great amd quick but my 20pcs nuggets and fries were soggy and super cold even mycrib it was all sticky in the box like if the steam the bun instead of toasted but I still eat it but the nuggets and fries so nasty and the the sadness part is that went I report it to the delivery company they say they can't do anything so is really disappointed that I spent my money for this food and I still have to discharge the food that I mentionand .and is really unfair that I pay for this food and the store still making the money went I loosing my money and my food ..please if anyone go to this location and order food specially at later afternoon ask for fresh food or they will give u trash.. on this end my daughter eat some of the nuggets till I see her making faces I was like what is wrong and at the moment I touch it and eat it I take the box away ..

I ordered no salt fries and the staff gave me salted fries. When i asked for the justification of the mistake the rudest staff ever said i already ate half of it even when i had just 2 fries. The staff needs some manners to talk to the customers. Will never ever visit this rude outlet.
