We had a wonderful experience here for lunch. It was absolutely beautiful on the back deck overlooking the river and bridge. We both ordered the big burgers on the menu and they were perfect! So much food! Got fries and fried mushrooms and it was great and a great price. Great service too!mThe area is absolutely charming, and the views of the bluffs were spectacular. We loved the little town of Hardin! We will be back!
The food was amazing. The salad was simple, but amazing. It wasn't a gourmet salad by any stretch, but it was so good. Then came the catfish fritters. Holy smokes were they good. I had some plain and they were top notch. I tried some with tartar and onion and they were top notch. Our server was the nicest, friendliest young woman. We wanted for nothing. And while we waited for our food, we watched the cars cross the bridge, and boats tooling up and down the river....
I rarely eat at places like this, and I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the fried chicken and the catfish fritters were very good! They were served hot. The meat is juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and has just the right amount of seasoning. The pieces are reasonable and the portions are generous. Service was good, restaurant was full, and the waitress was covering the whole floor. The only drawback is the restaurant temperature...
