Having worked in this area for a couple of years, I have been inclined to try the local cuisine. I've heard good things about this restaurant but rather than be rude, it was not a good choice to have fish. The catfish fritters were nothing but a frozen product not fried nearly enough, most definitely not fresh. One in the party chose a burger and found it to be a fine dinner.

This is a wonderful place to stop, and enjoy the awesome food and great company. I asked for the nearest Hardware store, the young lady said hold on? And here Dad Cullin was ready to run me to the store for supplies, that’s after an amazing breakfast. I thought customer service/friendship was a thing of the past.

Took a drive along the river road and stopped here for breakfast based on a recommendation from a friend. I had the biscuits and gravy and they were some of the best I've ever had. The biscuits were nice and fluffy. They came with a generous portion of gravy that was just the right consistency, the perfect amount of pepper and sausage. I highly recommend them!

Most unorganized waitress was terrible . I ordered fritters was brought out fillets with no taste my wife ordered burger and fries she was brought out a burger I had to go tell them to get my wife’s fries lol what a joke the floors were disgusting dirty no refillls won’t be back Ever nasty

We drove 35 miles to try this place. The walleye serving was huge and great! The catfish fritters were good, but slightly underdone. Fries were very good and plentiful. The German potato salad was not homemade, tiny portion and tasted like canned. The potato salad tasted like pre-made. Overall I would definitely eat here again, but would get different sides.
We took our Mom out for some fish. This place didnt disappoint. We ordered the Buffalo fritters. They were lightly breaded.. so good!! Try the cucumber salad too. Next to the river so there's nice views.

Food and service is always on point. Unfortunately this last visit the service was mediocre at best. Our server had a poor attitude and didn't seem to know to say or respond to thank you. We had to ask other servers for refills and other needs
