What a great place!! Did the tour/tasting with Braden McCarthy and he is fantastic!!! He is so knowledgeable, patient, and answered all our questions. The place is spotless!! We also had mixed drinks at the bar and we all loved them! Definitely recommend and will go back! Bought some delicious bourbon and vodka from the gift shop.
My wife and I came to Rush Creek Distilling through Harvest Host, really glad we did. The whole experience was outstanding. We were a bit late getting started at the distillery but Braden took his time and made us feel very welcome. We started with a tasting I had the 4 ryes to start and finished with the trophy. All were very good, all very smooth with very nice finish. My wife had the coffee and vanilla vodkas, the maple finished bourbon and the trophy. She enjoyed...
What do you know? Another hidden gem in a place one wouldn't necessarily go and look. Back lot near business park in Harvard Illinois.
Cons: location but not really a con, just wouldn't know it was here if my husband hadn't worked up the street.
Pros: everything else. Friendly staff, clean, well set up, and the prices are super reasonable (during happy hour, at least). Like the liquor? Buy some to take home.
