The food is pricey. Any meal will cost you almost $20. It used to make a difference what type of food you got per the price. Not anymore a steak burger is about the same price as a regular burger. I believe people raise prices more bc of the excuse product cost more. However the staff is very friendly and they actually listen to how you ordered your food.
Friendly service anywhere is a plus, bc it's becoming rarely experienced.

I stopped in earlier and tried the chicken gyro. The lady working the counter asked if I'd like everything. Yeah sure I want everything on it. I got home and opened up the foil. I had meat, lettuce, onion and tomatoes but no tzatziki sauce. Not a drop. Wait...what? What's a gyro without the cucumber sauce to top it off? 🤬

Alpha’s is alway’s a “Hit”!! Great food, reasonable prices, Phenomenal Owner & the best part about Harvey, Illinois. Once they got rid of that unprofessional Chick with the red hair, they’ve been my “Go To” place when I’m in the area.
