I usually use the app and use the drive-thru, but I was having a problem adding a reward that I received from a prior order. Letty(?), the young man at the register placed the order for me. He was so nice and helpful! I sat down at a table and while I was waiting, the other team members were smiling and talking amongst themselves. I rarely see this at other places when I go pick up carry out these days. I'm happy to see young people working and not acting like it's the last place that they want to be. The team at the Hardwood Heights location is great!

09.11.2025 The Location in Hardwood Heights, IL is always too cold Management always says they can't adjust the temperature. Please fix this. It's cold all the time. Today more so than ever. 4 different customers complaining about how cold it is and we are all playing musical tables trying to find a spot where it doesn't feel so cold . For management not to be able to control the setting is ridiculous. Other businesses accommodate customers why can't Buona Beef do the same!!!

Never thought I would write a bad review for Buona but here I am. Ordered a beef with sweet peppers and a rigatoni bowl and the pasta was not cooked all the way and neither were the sweet peppers. Beef wasn't nearly as good as usual either.
Friendly, fast and accurate service and hot and very tasty food. Love the Harwood Heights location of Buona.

I decided to try Buona in Harwood Heights for the first time ever and already know, not the last one! Everything was prepared exactly the way I asked through the mobile app. The italian beef sandwich with hot gardiniera was very good, along with the gravy on the side. I really enjoyed that meal on Saturday night. Thank you.
