Just placed a order for the open face roast beef paid for double. Nothing but fat in it. You have to pick to get the meat. There resolution to bring it back for a new one one or a 5 dollar certificate. After I paid 32 dollars. Won't be getting that again. No one has time to go back and re pick up

The atmosphere was completely ruined, we have been meeting another couple halfway at Babes for many many years. We went for dinner as we do 4-5 times per year … and one in our party was having his 60th birthday, a lady came To our table and advised us that we had to pay a “service fee” of $10 to have cake for the birthday celebration and gave us some song and dance about outside food when we were all there clearly having a meal… but so be it… we paid the $10 on top of our $144 ticket and expressed our opinion . But there was no give a care about our opinion. We are by no means “regulars “ but we did have our regular visits there… I’m saddened that they chose to alienate us as customers over $10…. As we will never return.

After waiting for one hour and fifteen minutes we ask that our order be free. The owner offered to take half price. I would have left without eating but my party wanted to stay. I guess service is not what it used to be to be.

We came in Sunday and had the best food and service!! We live about 45min away and its worth the drive!! I had the tenderloin SSOOOO GOOD and my husband had a hamburger horseshoe, we also got the pretzel and cheese, the tea was amazing as well!! Our waitress Kaila was top notch!! We can't wait to come back!!

Happy to have found this place. It's been a long time since I have had such a flavorful and satisfying meal from a pub style restaurant. Fried chicken was on special. The chicken had so much flavor. It tasted like grandma's southern fried with perfectly crispy skin and juicy meat without being too greasy. The white gravy was also delicious. I usually dislike white gravy but that was my only choice for the potatoes. I would absolutely eat it again.
Our waitress was very friendly, personable, and attentive. I hope we get her again when we go back. The restaurant was clean and had an inviting atmosphere.
For desert, I recommend the caramel apple pie! The brown butter cake was also good but the pie was better.
Food took an hour to come out. When we did get it it was quite good. The tenderloin was the biggest I've ever seen and I've seen many. Overall really good.

Babes is definitely worth trying!! My friend and I were in Havana for the night, and we decided to head downtown for dinner. We got our drinks and ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer. They were hot and delicious! I ordered a chicken sandwich with sweet potato tater tots. They were small bite sized tots but oh so good! I have never ever had them so small before, but they were quite tasty! My friend had one of the signature burgers and fries, which she enjoyed too. The female staff members were all very nice and knowledgeable of the menu, and quite attentive to all the guests needs. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and we will go back probably in October during the Spoon River Drive.

The pork tenderloin is great, but my grilled chicken was something bland I could've made at home. The Mac and cheese tasted completely devoid of cheese, almost like a flour and cheese powder mix. The waitress was efficient but short/ bordering on rude. I'll go back for the tenderloin but I'll get it to go.

With visiting Havana I would recommend Babe's over Toni's any day. The food wasn't to bad. The hamburger horseshoe was OK the hamburger need some seasoning. The hey stack was a little of a disappointment but not to bad. Our waitress seemed to have had an attitude but again she may have been having a bad day but I still found it enjoyable to be there and eat. Price needs to be adjusted for the area as you can see a bit priced high, not sure what the service chage is for (you got to serve your customers to have business why would chage for that). Over all it's worth another visit.
