Small place with only 4 small tables if you’re eating in and it takes a while to prepare the food but the place is very clean and food quality was extremely high and well worth the wait. The guy running the place was super friendly and helpful. He playfully challenged me to try the salmon burger vs the regular burger and it was a great call. He’s clearly making things from scratch with care and skill. I will definitely go back if I’m ever in the area.
shrimp tacos and garlic fries were good and the staff is nice!
Went yesterday for the first time. Customer service was wonderful. thank you Chuck. The vegan tips and the jackfruit sliders were the bomb. I will be back!
Had mushroom sandwich and it was good. Highly recommend it for all vegans and vegetarians.
Service was amazing. Large dining area was closed ( came in close to closing ) We are allowed to eat in seating area . We tried different items on the menu and was not disappointed. Overall everything was good. I have to say the ribs were our favorite. Yes there was a wait. But who cares...That black man is back there cooking !!!!
Great owner makes you feel at home amazing food to
Vegan and the others(know as meat eaters) have numerous options to choose from. It’s not many restaurants that have more options. Hard to decide
Chef Chuck is amazing food is out of this world, everything was amazing definitely going back again and again 😁
We were traveling to Michigan to visit family and wanted to find a unique place for lunch... This was it!
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
My wife had the shrimp po boy which was excellent.
I tried my first black bean burger... The fixins realy made the burger.
If I go again I'm going to try the portabella burger.
Definitely worth trying out!
PS ...ask the owner about the name!!!!!

The owner, chuck, is a very nice guy. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good too, especially the garlic fries. A little on the pricy side but not overpriced for a small, local business.
We are in the area for a bachelorette weekend with 12 of us with some of us being vegan and vegetarian. This place was an amazing addition to our stops for the day! 🥰❤️😍 the portion sizes are insanely gracious! We got the fried eggplant sandwich, fried cauliflower, fried mushrooms, garlic fries, chicken pita, turkey jerk sliders, vegan poboy, vegan portobello sandwich, chicken wings, buffalo chicken sandwich - and ALL of it was delicious!!! The sauces - next to NONE! Very happy with everything!!!! Owner was very accommodating too, set up tables in the back for us to all sit together. THANK YOU!!!
We visited and tried the Vegan Gyro and the Vegan BBQ Tips, with sides of regular fries and garlic fries. The Gyro was very filling, so I saved the fries for later. The Gyro did have a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste personally, but it was good overall. The star of the show, however, was the BBQ Tips. They were very good flavor wise, and I liked the texture, but my best friend felt that the texture was not agreeable; they were very chewy, so it's mostly just a personal preference. The fries were good; we enjoyed that they had a sort of sweet aftertaste!
The food was prepared fresh and the wait time was minimal.

Enjoyed the fried mushrooms tossed in barbecue sauce while fresh, but saved my fries and vegan tacos for the next day. They were still delicious.
