We passed by here in May on our trip with a camper. We had had no reception in the area for a few hours and were looking for somewhere to stay overnight. The employee was just about to finish work, but let us in when we told her our problem. She then helped us a lot and recommended a campsite nearby and showed us the way on a map.

This is a great place to stop for gifts and ice cream, milkshakes etc. They have really nice things. Ample parking, very nice people working here. Definitely stop and get an ice cream after you hike in the garden of the gods.

Great little shop, excellent ice cream shakes, great gift shop if that interests you. Great quick meals when you get off the trail from a day off hiking.
