I ordered a custom cake, I ordered a chocolate cake with custard filling, and a buttercream frosting with royal icing decorations. The chocolate cake was the consistency and quality of any package cake that you buy from a box. I was expecting gooey delicious moist incredible chocolate cake. The frosting was not like the butter cream. I am used to it. It was a lighter frosting and perhaps it was butter cream but I can't be sure. The filling was not custard. It was the same frosting is on the outside of the cake. The royal icing decorations were not edible. And there was no merry Christmas written across the cake. When I questioned her about the filling she went in the back of the store and I guess she pretended to look at something and came out, so Yep vanilla just like the picture. I remember the conversation verbatim plus I wrote down my own notes. And when I got home, sure enough, it was supposed to be buttercream frosting And custard filling. Overall it was not what I ordered, the quality was not of something I would expect for a $90 cake from a bakery.

The shop is small and expensive. I was really hoping to like the candy that was made but I didn’t. It tasted off. I thought it was just me so I had somebody else take a taste. That person agreed. It smelt good but was not good.

Owner is so rude I’ve purchased from here many times and I’ve had multiple incidents with her. She even walked out to the parking lot and had the audacity to be rude. Never returning I’m taking my business elsewhere.

A group of 5 of us took the candy making class with Sue and had a blast! We learned so many interesting and delicious things. We left with lots of delicious creations and ideas. Can't wait to try some on my own! Thank you Sue!

I was concerned about making the 40 min drive based on some of the less than stellar reviews. I now know that the bad reviews are based on people that mist likely can not be satisfied. The shop is outdated but who cares, youre not going for the ambiance...youre going for baking supplies. It is not dirty, like some other person mentioned but it is cluttered (its a small space with A TON of stuff). The owner was nothing but pleasant, helpful and gracious and she was busy with other customers. If she was going to be short or rude it probably would have showed when working alone and busy. She helped me find EXACTLY what I needed after having been to 3 other places. I can only assume, because she is a very mild, softspoken woman, that if she truly was rude to someone, they were probably demanding, upitty asshats who got on her last nerve...Anywho, she's a delight and the place has virtually everything for great prices!I will make that drive everytime that I need to restock.

I love this place! Very quick and their cakes are beautifully done! When you have a 1st birthday, they give you a smash cake for free (with an order). Been going to them for almost 7 years.

I read the reviews prior to visiting the location. I was a little apprehensive at first because I am very big on customer service, and I want to be treated fairly in any establishment I’m spending my hard earned money. So I took a chance and let’s just say I had the most AWESOME experience shopping with Marge she was so welcoming and so nice she literally answered every question I had and she was VERY patient! Her customer service was impeccable. She even helped when my arms got too full, lol. The supplies were very nice and neat prices are reasonable and they have everything you need! I know some people may have had bad experiences but sometimes it’s best to see for yourself!!
