Would have loved to have tasted the food! However, after 3 DD drivers waiting and waiting, & the restaurant postponing my order for over an hour..."they" (DD &/or the restaurant?) decided to cancel my order for not being able to fulfill all my items! Seriously?? If you knew you didn't have certain items &/or couldn't handle my not-so-big order in a timely manner, simply call me!! Tell me so, or ask if I want a sub &/or want to cancel an/any items! Don't wait 'til after an hr & make 3 DD drivers sit & wait for nothing; nor make my hungry household sit here not knowing what's up!!! Too bad, had high hopes for something different~~~

so i am never coming back here again. First off there is no staff other than the lady and her husband, and the lady is so racist. while eating with my family, she asks us about where we are from. thats not important to you. but after that she has the ego to say "oh reallyyyyy, but mexicans only like tacos," and she smiled rolled her eyes walked away after we politely asked for more time, I was so hungry too and my food came last of course, and she doesnt have anything prepared so you have to wait for her to make it. its a really small place too, there are like 3 tables with 4 chairs or less and the kitchen is separated from where you eat by a thin small little curtain and the lady is on her phone or doing something back there because I barely saw her until the end when my brother asked for her to give us the bill.

Good food great people

The food is good, I really liked their chicken. Both the pollo a la brasa and their seco de pollo are really flavorful and tender. They have chicha morada but it tastes like it came from a mix, though it's still good and not super sweet. But don't arrive too hungry because the service is slooow. It's literally one main cook who is a woman and an older man who is a server, kitchen helper, and busser. My order came out 15 minutes after my friend's food, which she mostly finished by then.Again, nice people and good food, but it literally is a mom & pop business, so I hope you're patient.

I decide to try this restaurant because I love Peruvian food. The couple that served me were quite gracious. Unfortunately, the meal was a letdown. Although it was freshly prepared, the ceviche lack flavor, and for a plate that cost close to $18, I only received  1/10 of a piece of choclo and one end slice of sweet potato and cheap farm raised fish. Unfortunately, the Lomo Saltado, which costs roughly $18 for 10 small pieces of steak and a mountain of onion and tomato to cover the fact that there was little meat, was the biggest letdown, the flavor, though, was on point.I don't recommend the flautas de pollo but love the papa la huancaina. I don't mind spending a little bit more, but it seemed like I was at a tapas restaurant due to the extremely small portions. The service was so slow, only one meal was brought to the table at a time, since the cook is the waiter.

My husband and I were looking forward to trying a new Peruvian restaurant especially since it was Peruvian Independence Day. The restaurant gave "hole in the wall" vibe and we know that means great food. We were told we would be served in 30-40 min--we ended up waiting an hour+ Another family got served before us, we were provided 1/3 of our order, waited on utensils and provided no sauces. The food was seasoned great! We would love to give this place another try but the service really altered our experience.

I am so happy that we finally have a Peruvian restaurant in the south burbs!!! I ordered the Peruvian chicken dinner. The chicken is the star of the meal! Juicy, flavorful, and just outright delicious! The dinner comes with salad, fries, and salad. The sides were ok…but I will definitely be back for the chicken! Also, don’t be thrown off by the curtain separating the kitchen from the dining room….trust me this place is legit!!!?

Good food. Hard to find a solid Peruvian restaurant in the Southside. This place is a hidden gem and worthy of a try. I had the Lomo soltado and was on point. The ceviche was very good as well.
