Ordered the new Alaska fish which was ok. One big complaint for the entire meal was that the fish was warm and the fries were cold.

I am a local and come to this DQ quite often I use coupons and their deals alot.. food is expensive anymore. I went in there today and was happy I ha e a coupon that for reward members said 50% off any order.. right on so I get a combo and a 8 in dq cake and even though it rung up with the coupon and took it off they said I could not do that there
.. they only take the coupons for the food not novelty items like cake.. or bars etc. First off the coupon says any order and it rang up correctly so it is able to be taken off corectly. But they want me to ring it up separately and only use coupon for combo. That's not what the coupon says. If you are going to honor the coupon then honor it the way they have set up. It does not say combos and whatever only. It says any order.. this is false advertising if you are going to honor it honor it or do not honor it at all!!! Few options in hillsboro so I may be back on occasion but they have lost my loyalty as they do not appreciate it.

We went to Dairy Queen for a little snack and my strawberry sundae was the wrong size that was corrected at the window when we got home we opened up the barbecue sauce and tossed wings which are advertised completely covered in sauce and get home and there’s barely any sauce on them. My pretzel sticks were cold. For the price we payed for it is not worth it. I understand it was close to closing, but that is no excuse for poor food.

If I could give this review zero stars I would. After being a loyal DQ customer for YEARS, I am absolutely appalled at how I was treated today. When a new hire made a mistake, which is more than understanding, the manager on shift immediately put the blame on me. I was very polite at first and just wanting to get answers about why my order was the way it was. However after she blamed me, dismissed me, and talked down to me like I was an incompetent child I did get upset and drop the F bomb and tell her not to treat her customers shitty. I believe anyone would get an attitude after being treated so poorly instead of with the same respect that was given. I hope in the future they have basic human decency when a customer had a problem with their order.

I want to clarify that this review is not directed towards the new hire but specifically towards the manager that lacked professionalism and basic customer service skills. Also for the inability to make her staff feel safe enough to admit a mistake was made so that in the future they don’t stand in silence while a customer is belittled.

So why are we closing 30+ minutes early?? When I got there like 20 minutes before close (I was ordering one item) they already were fully closed + a worker was walking out, walked right next to me, and couldn’t even tell me they were closed? I mean I get some places have to close early for whatever reason, but on top of that I’m sitting in the drive thru and this worker didn’t think to say something? Pretty rude.

Takes forever to get your food even when not busy. Ridiculously overpriced. Doesn’t accept coupons. Food is hit and miss. Sometimes hot and fresh other times cold and rubbery or burnt. Staff is on their phones or talking with each other instead of paying attention to customers or doing their job

Alright, me and my friend got two orders. She got a hamburger with only ketchup and pickles. Mind you my girl cannot stand cheese like at all and the women repeated hamburger back. When she got her food it was a cheeseburger, we went back. And to be completely truthful, the worker was so rude. Sighed in the mic, acted annoyed. The cook was super nice and apologized. Everyone makes mistakes the problem wasn’t the mistake, it was how freaking rude she actually was. It’s so obvious people hate their job and i can completely understand, i work with the service industry too, but never have I EVER talked to a customer like that.

My family recently went to this Dairy Queen location for a quick dinner expecting to enjoy some dq, we spent almost 40 dollars and were given cold food, melted ice cream, and the ranch we got with our meal was starting to curdle. When we got to the drive through my dad apologized for ordering so much food right before closing and the drive through worker rolled her eyes and didn’t say a word. If you want to get cold food, terrible customer service, and to be blatantly disrespected this is the spot to go .

Imagine going to a restaurant to order buffalo wings and getting just a couple spots of buffalo on your wings. Thats what its like getting the buffalo chicken stripes at Hillsboro DQ and on top of all this food is cold. DQ prices are high now and to spend that kind of money and for the food to be cold is disappointing. Wont be back cause I can't keep spending my own money here just to see if my food will be cold or not

If giving a zero out of five stars was an option that would be my pick. After several horrible experiences including cold food, bad service, melted ice cream, I decide to go back and give it another chance given it’s the only ice cream place in Hillsboro. This most recent visit will be my last visit. I got a medium Oreo blizzard and upon reaching halfway through my blizzard I noticed that there were no Oreos and it hadn’t been blended properly. I proceeded to take it to the counter and ask if they could fix their mistake. As a response she proceeded to look at me like I had four heads and said, “ I don’t know what you want me to do, you’re not getting a free one.” As if I came to try to get a free blizzard out of them. When in all reality as a business the customer is always right and you fix your mistakes. How would I have known that there wasn’t any Oreos from halfway down unless I had eaten halfway up…I mean WHAT. Totally dissatisfied with this business and won’t be giving another dime to them. Don’t waste your money.

Spent 25 minutes in the drive thru and $10 on the fish combo . It was microwaved rubbery, and disgusting fries were cold. Our total bill was 27 for 3 people and change. Not worth it at all. Dairy Queen lose the microwaves and hire competent people.
