One of my favorite hidden gems in central Illinois. Highly recommend it if you’re in the Hillsboro area to stop in. Their bourbon selection is impeccable.
Great small town brewery! They have a wide selection of bourbon and a good selection of craft beer made in house. The building is also very neat, and provides a great atmosphere.
Opera House checks all the boxes; great beer, excellent service, chill atmosphere, awesome merch. Check them out. You won't regret it.

Excellent, fast service even though the place was packed! I stopped in late afternoon during first day of Old Settlers and had a Copper Rabbit. It was amazing! I’ll definitely be visiting again to try out their other brews!

Always a relaxing time and great craft beers
Great atmosphere and great beer and great service. Made a detour while traveling between Springfield and St Louis. It’s not right off the highway, but it’s worth it. Very fun place to spend an evening. Also part of a little architectural revival on the small town which was a nice surprise. There’s a cute movie theater we will go to the next time we come for a beer.
I've been to my fair share of breweries, this one is top notch all around. Drinks, service, people, atmosphere. Opera House has it all!
