micro brew and the beer is poor quality.
Always a great place to stay when visiting. Thanks to the owners for brining it back to life!

From the moment my journey began at the Red Rooster Inn, every step was imbued with the warmth of history and the charm of impeccable hospitality. Nestled in the heart of a quaint town, the Inn stands not just as a hotel but as a testament to bygone eras combined with contemporary comfort.
Upon arrival, the taproom greeted us with its inviting atmosphere, where the friendly staff welcomed us with smiles as genuine as the aged wood surrounding us. It was here that our adventure into the Red Rooster’s rich past commenced with a tour through its historic corridors. Each room told a story, from the days of early settlement to the modern integration of a brewery and distillery on-site. The guide’s enthusiasm was infectious, detailing tales of yore while showcasing the brewing process, which felt like stepping into a living history book.
The hotel itself is a marvel, with rooms that boast vaulted ceilings, allowing natural light to dance upon the walls, illuminating the carefully curated décor that blends history with comfort.
The monthly special was Beef Sauerbraten served with egg noodles, which melted in the mouth with flavors that whispered of tradition. The meal was perfectly complemented by their house Oktoberfest beer, the pairing suggested by a staff member who was both knowledgeable and passionate about the local brews. This attention to detail in food and beverage pairing reflects a commitment to enhancing every guest’s sensory journey. If you love beer, you are going to love sampling all of their wares.
The game room added a delightful touch to the visit. With billiards, shuffleboard, pinball machines, and darts, which is perfect for a bit of friendly competition or a relaxing afternoon. It’s not just a room; it’s a portal to recreation that brings people together.
If your travels take you near the Historic Red Rooster Inn, do not hesitate. It’s more than a stop; it’s an immersion into history, hospitality, and hearty fare. The experience is enriched by the staff's dedication to sharing not just a place, but a piece of living history. You’ll leave not just rested, but with stories of your own to tell, and perhaps a newfound appreciation for what true hospitality looks like. The Red Rooster Inn is not to be missed; it’s a jewel in the crown of historic inns, proving that history can indeed be alive and welcoming.

We had a sample size of all 9 beers. Two were not drinkable, 2 were just ok, the rest were pretty good. Since they have the sample size for $2 they don't really want to pour you a taste.
Then they didn't have the appetizer we wanted.
Doubt we'll go back.

THIS IS ADORABLE. We are so impressed with how it was renovated and everything is exquisitely decorated. Every need was anticipated. There are even cute little snacks to welcome you and ACTUAL COFFEE instead of a Keurig or something. 10/10 would recommend and we will stay here again when we come back. Wow.

A completely different hotel. No one at the front desk. You get in use in the last four digits of your telephone number. Way to expensive for what we got.
