I'll never go back to this place. I got a chicken and oxtail dinner, chicken was dry and the oxtails taste old, nor did the cabbage have any flavor. It was a total waste of money.keep in mind you'll wait a long time for your order.
Kid-friendliness: None at all, especially if you want to eat in
Recommended dishes: Rice and Peas
They are over priced for the food and I thought bread automatically comes with the food and when I placed my order through Uber eats it said bread comes with it. The chicken is dry and the pasta needs a little more seasoning I would definitely stick to 3D’s in Chicago on Laramie and north ave

Heard about this jerk restaurant and decided to visit. First off, make sure you order ahead of time or you will wait for a looong time for your food. The restaurant itself is very clean but can use a bit more ambiance. For instance, they should get a liquor license so if you are waiting a long time for your food a nice drink will help the long wait go by faster. They also should have some sports on some of the TV’s during sport season. The food was really tasty and seasoned well. I ordered some jerk chicken tacos, jerk egg rolls (which were very delicious) and shrimp tacos, everything was amazing except the shells. I strongly recommend having a second option for shells like corn shells. The portions were better than expected and the prices are in line with the market. Lastly I had the Mac/cheese as a side dish and it almost tasted store bought but whatever additional ingredients they added saved the dish. The plantain was on point! If you are in the area I would recommend stopping by but call well ahead of time.

I stop here on my way home to Wisconsin all the time, they have great food, my favorites being the jerk eggs rolls and oxtails, and you can’t forget the pound cake. They always have a welcoming attitude. 10/10 should try

The Bang Bowl and the Jerk Rib Tips were the bomb. Not that I shared, but it was enough to share!! The added avocado just warmed my heart. I had a sample of the oxtails and Can’t wait to try more on the menu!
Don’t believe the hype my food was not good and I wasted my money. I got the mixed chicken dinner and my chicken was extremely dry both the white and dark meat and it’s hard to make dark meat dry but it was dry. The seasoning was good but my chicken was dry so it wasn’t worth it. The cabbage was overcooked and mushy. The rice and peas were good that was the only thing. I was highly disappointed.

My daughter told me about this place. I didn’t feel like cooking Sunday dinner so I was looking for a good soul food restaurant. Since I wasn’t familiar with the restaurant I called to make sure they were open.
I ordered a mixed jerk chicken dinner with cabbage and macaroni and cheese, a side of plantains and rib tips. I didn’t know rice and beans came with the dinner so I also ordered a side of rice and beans.
My total came to $52.00. But that was because of how I ordered.
The food was delicious. My husband really enjoyed the plantains and the cabbage. I did too. The rib tips weren’t tough. I didn’t care for the sauce and I didn’t get any bread either.
I will be ordering again next week. Can’t wait to try the yams 🍠. I think I’ll stop at Dunkin’s and pick up a cornbread muffin to go with that yummy cabbage.
