I placed an order during my lunch break while heading to a very important meeting thinking I would quickly be serviced. I was wrong. No freaky fast service at this location. While placing my order, the young lady seemed a little frustrated at the drive thru. I waited for over 15 mins on my sandwich. When I finally got to my destination to enjoy my lunch, I noticed mold on the top of my sandwich. I immediately called the location and spoke to the manager and expressed my frustration because there was no way this was a mistake. Whoever made the sandwich saw the mold however they continued to serve it to me. When I got off work, I drove out of my way to return my order and show the manager. Thankfully he didn’t question me and issued me a full refund. However, I will not be returning to this location. I will drive out of my way before supporting this store because it’s clear that the customers health is not their priority. Also, I should’ve requested a refund once I saw the bread pan sitting on the trash can from the drive thru, however, I ignored that red flag.

Best Jimmy John’s I’ve been too. The bathroom was extremely clean and my sandwich exceeded expectations. The bread was a little over baked, but I’m ok with that. Great job!

Jimmy John’s has great sandwiches and the quality is consistently good. Unfortunately, the experience at this particular location was very underwhelming.
I chose Jimmy John’s expecting the quick, efficient service the brand is known for—but this visit was anything but. The wait time was longer than what I typically experience at a sit-down restaurant, which defeats the purpose of choosing a place advertised as “freaky fast.”
It’s disappointing to see the standard slip like this. I genuinely hope this location can improve its speed and efficiency, because right now, it’s no longer living up to the name.

I went to the jimmy John’s in hillside and requested fresh bread, I received a sandwich with bread hard as a rock. It happened twice. The second time I called, the manager promised a credit to my phone number. When I came in a week or so later, there was no credit and the manager Javier who was on duty was not only rude, but refused to honor the credit. I paid in cash. I kept my receipt and I will be following through with corporate for a response. Bad customer service and food. Nope! Just give me you money!!

My Vito sandwich lack oil & vinegar, it was too dry!! Needed a napkin, none served with my food or anywhere to pickup! But yet, after only taking my order & asking for payment, 1st it wants me to garner a TIP. You haven't done anything yet to warrant tipping! I tip for good service after it's provided, not before!!They're lucky to get the score I gave..., only 2 stars!

I am befuddled with my experience at Jimmy John's Hillside location. My experience was absolutely horrendous and disgusting. I ordered my food in drive through on my lunch. I was greeted by a young lady at the window and paid for my order. She steps away; through the window I can see her combing her fingers through her braids. She is on the end of the food counter. And someone is handing her sandwiches and bags. She comes back to the window. I ask her why she was combing through her braids while she was getting my sandwich. She proceeds to say, I didn't make your sandwich! I say young lady you are still touching the wrapper that the sandwich goes in, it's not sanitary. She turns around and tells her coworkers ; she complaining about me touching my hair and I didn't make the sandwich. Another young lady walks up and I'm trying to tell her what happened . She does something on the register and hands me a receipt . I gave you a refund . I didn't ask for a refund. Well it seemed like you wanted a refund . I said seeming and knowing are different . You didn't ask me. I still want my sandwich but without her rubbing through her hair. Well I have to charge you again. M:That's fine! Well pull around the front.So I go in cause obviously yall not getting it. I ask to speak to the manager . It's the lady who refunded me. I say you all are not acknowledging that hair shouldn't be touched while handling food. She says, it's no different than my hair right now. Btw her hair is pulled back in a ponytail with a cap. I say, it is different cause you're not combing through your hair. Now this is where I got ticked off. The manager then proceeds to flick her ponytail and says, it's no different . I say so you're telling me you're gonna flick your hair after it's a complaint then go back and make sandwiches . I said the thing is you don't know who could be coming to observe you all. You could not take a nice gesture to inform but you mocked me. So now I'm writing this horrible review . I have called corporate and will be writing a letter. 0 stars do not recommend !!!
