Had a night out with a friend we didn't get the opportunity to partake in the food. However, the atmosphere in the bar was great. Evan, the bartender, was superb, very kind, and attentive, and will most definitely go back.

It's not like the original Q's. A lot of the favorites I grew up with are gone.

Loved this place. Total dive bar. The bartender was spread thin. Only had drinks but will go back to try the zza. With a sign that old, the food has to be great!

I’m not from the Chicago area, but have always been impressed with the variety of great restaurants while visiting. Went here on a local recommendation, and was floored from the start. The interior has that old school city vibe, with the centrally located bar, surrounded by locals as you walk in the door. The menu highlights American Italian, with the folks at the bar recommending the sausage pizza in which “Q” is known for. But I took a different route, opting for chicken Marsala with a side of linguine. Little did I realize the dinners start with a cup of soup, as well as a salad, as well as a side dish. The soup of choice was a very tasty minestrone; and the house salad came with a homemade Italian vinaigrette: And all was served with fresh baked Italian bread. The chicken Marsala was excellent, and included 2 full breasts in a rich Marsala wine sauce with mushrooms. One of the tastier versions I’ve sampled. I added a glass of house Chianti, which made the meal near perfect. Wanna hear the best part? The whole meal was only $15! Plus $6 for the wine. Where in the world can you eat for $21 in today’s world? So, Food gets a 5 for sure… Service was very good. I arrived at shift change, which normally wouldn’t be ideal; but everything went smoothly. Drinks were topped off quickly, and the food brought out in a timely manner. I’ll add, the service felt genuine, and everyone was very welcoming to the “new guy”…. So Service gets a 5 as well. Overall, I don’t believe I could’ve found a better “old school” neighborhood eatery. From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed. If you’re looking for a really good place to eat and drink, at a very reasonable price, this is the place.

Old school tavern with all the trimmings! Six slots for you to contribute and. Penny of new friends to make. That pizza is only a decision away!
