Was not thru the fast food section Banquet after funeral. Most was very good. Iam sure not the ordinary staff that works evening banquets. That said, we waited awhile for them to put out anything. Was a very long day. Some were ready to go to the fast food side. Which many their, frequent only good things to say about that side of Chickies. So I must admit, I may be judging hard. The situation and the staggered entrances of people may have left a bit of confusion that messed the staff up. When they started came out fast Dishes quickly Family style was good.

Been going to Chickies since the early 70s when they were located at Pulaski & 28th in Chgo. The beef is great, especially with the Chickie's hot peppers. Also, love the cheeseburgers with the grilled onions and Chickie's peppers and the fresh-cut fries are great. My sons also liked their pizza. Great Chgo hot dog stand.

Such a good place had the little village burger on French bread and little different but good. The beef smells and looks delicious, and a must is the fries with cheese, you won't regret it. The Italian ice is also worth getting.

My go-to meals is a hotdog with fresh cut fries, jumbo pepperoni slice and a gravy bread (extra juicy). Know that their beef and combo sandwiches are the so savory. Best in the business. No need to go elsewhere to satisfy your cravings.

My husband loves Chickie's! We picked up from the drive thru and ate when we got home. As usual, their Italian beefs did not disappoint! 😋
