ABSOLUTELY HIDEOUS! All the way from the South side because of the hype and I’m LIVID! Lamb chops in a sauce that tasted like teriyaki and SOAKED them. Mac and cheese definitely wasn’t “soul” and greens too bitter. Chicken wings will drive up your blood pressure. I’m mad it’s so far away otherwise I would be headed back in that direction. TERRIBLE!

I wanted to try this place as I live in the area and it’s new but I’m disappointed in how the business is being handled. I wasn’t treated well as a first time customer so I won’t be back. I didn’t even get to try the food.

The Soulf Food Egg Roll is technically rectangle. The best thing about it for me the food is pack together and touching. So, if you are a person that does not like your food to touch too bad so sad for you. The Catfish is breaded and seasoned properly and quite tasty. The worst thing was my fries. The photo shows that they were blanched and served ro me nothing more disappointing than undercooked fires.

Got fried ribs and they were salty I'm from the south and I guess this how the north do it...mac and cheese was dry as well the yams was not good as well.

I just left there, I was trying to support the business. The oxtails were tuff and looked like they had not been cleaned. There was a lot of fat on the oxtails and just didn't look cleaned. The cabbage was horrible. The sweet potatoes were ok and the cornbread muffin was ok. Needless to say, I will not be back. In business, you just can't give those that patronize you any Ole thing.

Sadly I gave this place another chance and it was horrible like my ribs was very salty I ordered 4 egg rolls and they was very thick and taste like flour nothing tasted fresh I will not recommend any of my love ones to this restaurant nor will I be returning

Food very salty and most of the side dishes made from the can! I’m not understanding how something can be so expensive but poor food quality bathroom needs hand soap and why are you charging me 10% gratuity for dine in but I ordered takeout…I strongly don’t recommend
