We have always enjoyed dining here. I was disappointed because I had noted in our reservation that it was our anniversary. I never expect that to mean free dessert, etc. what I do expect is for someone, either a hostess or waitress to at least say Happy Anniversary.

Food was great, but the night was a hot mess. Had to wait way too long for drinks, a fork [!], and our food. Appetizers and main courses never came out at the same time. One appetizer would come out and then 2 minutes later the other two would come out. The same pattern for the entrees. No soy sauce. Totally unacceptable. I will likely only get carry out from this place in the future and avoid the horrible experience of in-restaurant eating at Nabuki. Bad, bad, bad.

We are semi regulars at Nabuki, meaning we go once a month or so. We found on this trip, the service was not it's usual top notch. We sat in the bar and it was not packed, but it was busy. We were sat immediately, waited about 5-10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. We then ordered a couple of apps, which one came out quickly, and one did not...The waiter came back and asked "if he could get us anything else" and we told him that our other app didn't come out and that we would like to order dinner. He took our order, entered it into the system, and 3 minutes later our 2nd app came out...clearly, he didn't enter it the first time. This was minor glitch and we were enjoying the slower pace, it was just unusual for Nabuki. There was a Chicago Bulls player sitting in the bar and it appears the staff was a bit star struck by his presence, which may have been enough to throw the staff off their normal game....All in all, the food was it's normal great, prices are what you expect, and the atmosphere is very upbeat. We will continue to visit Nabuki, and I will recommend it accordingly.

Our first time dining at Nabuki . We were seated promptly upon arrival. Drinks were ordered and brought quickly. The appetizers were the star of the night with the jalepaneos amazing. My wife ordered salmon which was overcooked, two of us ordered scallops and were disappointed in the mashed potatoes they were served on ( rice would have been preferable) and our fourth ordered noodles which she enjoyed. If we go again we would order only appetizers.
