We had a terrible experience at this restaurant, followed by stomach cramps and digestive issues. The place has limited seating with very little privacy, and the staff was disorganized and overly pushy. We placed our order right away, yet the waitress came back asking if we wanted to order again, and then another staff member asked the same. So many people kept checking on our order that we were confused whether it had even been placed.
The menu is very poor, especially for meat lovers—no chicken, no steak, and many items were unavailable, even though we were there on a Saturday night around 7 p.m. Food took a very long time to arrive, came in tiny portions, and was completely bland with no taste. The lamb chops we ordered at the beginning never arrived—after waiting a long time, we finally asked about them, only to be told they weren’t available.
The bill was almost $200 with the mandatory 22% gratuity. I could write more about this place, but I think it’s enough to say—stay away from
I went to Pour Destino for the first time last weekend and I’m already planning my next visit. The drinks were so good—super well-made and not overly sweet like a lot of places. I had one of their signature cocktails and it seriously hit the spot.
The whole vibe of the place was cozy but still really stylish, and the staff was super friendly without being overbearing. It’s definitely one of those spots you could go to for a casual night out or start your weekend off right. Highly recommend!

Hands down one of the best drinks I have had. Pour Destino feels upscale but still cozy and welcoming. The pane con tomata was great—literally the perfect combo of crispy bread, fresh tomato, and olive oil. Simple but so good.
Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor, and the service was top tier without being over the top. Definitely worth the splurge if you’re celebrating something special or just want a really great night out in Hinsdale.

Visited here for the first time and when we were seated the table was dirty with some sticky liquid. We asked the waiter who was also the bartender to wipe it and he apologized and made it right. We ordered a variety of plates to try and were very underwhelmed and disappointed. They brought out the wrong croquettes and then came back and said that our plate was given to another table. So then we had to wait a while to get ours. The papas bravas were barely cooked and bland-they drizzled them with stuff, but not at all worth it. None of the 4 plates we tried were worth it. The cherry on top was that they automatically applied a 22% gratuity to our check. Definitly not a good experience.

Closed even though we had a confirmed reservation. . What a disappointment since we drove over an hour and planned it for a week.
Visited here for restaurant week. Overall, disappointing experience. When the server asked how the food I was I said “meh”. He responded “well we all have different tastes.” True! But I offered to give specific feedback to the chef, but he declined, so I’m giving my feedback here and on Yelp.
Way overpriced. $22 a glass for a less than generous pour of Marques de Murrieta Rioja. This is not a $125 bottle of wine.
The two items that seemed decent- barbacoa sliders and k.i.s.s burger were not available because of restaurant week.
The restaurant week menu and quality was the worst I’ve seen.
The gambas- shrimp were two tiny scampi sized shrimp that tasted recently thawed from frozen / mushy in a spoon of melted butter. The menu offered “jumbo” which they were not and finished on the grill which they were not. I should’ve sent it back and taken a photo.
The “paella” offered as a main dish was two scoops of cold rice- with one muscle, one chewy calamari- again frozen not fresh and not appropriately spiced for what paella should be. The “lobster and sea bass” advertised on the menu is laughable if there was a portion it was half a bite of each.
The only interesting portions were the glazed carrots in goat cheese, the lamb chop and spicy chocolate with the dessert option.
I’m annoyed we spent so much money. The bill was over $300 and went home hungry and disappointed.
They need to pick a theme and go with it. Whisky bar maybe? Tapas place? Not even close.
I also noticed the overall 5 star review is deceiving. Other lower comments were not factored in. If you come here eat dinner first and enjoy an overpriced cocktail instead

Looking for a fun spot definitely check out Pour Destino in Hinsdale! A tapas speak easy! The food and drinks were a 10 out of 10. Flacko made us feel welcomed & went above and beyond. All the staff was wonderful! We happened to meet the young business owner and chef! Really nice people! Can't wait to go back for some lamb chops! 🤤

Such a cool place in Hinsdale, just what we needed. The vibes, food, and overall atmosphere is very posh, and “West Loop” style.
