Loved it and I'll be back! So I'm new to the burbs and was ecstatic when I found out there would be this trendy fusion restaurant opening up. My husband and I stumbled upon it on a Saturday early evening - just in time for an early dinner. I'm a huge Mexican food aficionado so I know my Mexican food. It's not your typical authentic Mexican food that you'd find in the city, but a bit more contemporary and still flavorful - and I can appreciate that! We ordered the guacamole with chips and salsa which I thought were great. We also ordered the Al pastor tacos, the chicken tinga and carne asada. We ended our dinner with the Mexican donuts. Overall, I would go back and order all of it except the chicken tinga which was a little too sweet for my liking. My favorite was the Al pastor. My husband loved the carne asada. I also had a delicious watermelon mocktail not listed on the menu but something the bartender created on a whim. Best of all, the staff and our server were extremely friendly and attentive. We had such a great experience, I would definitely be back and it feels wonderful to have something fun and new in town.

This place was so busy on a Saturday night. I made reservations ahead of time so we were seated as soon as we walked in. The front area of the place had a few tables occupied for dine in and the bar area was full as well. We were seated in the dining area at the back side of the restaurant. Our server was pleasant but seemed to be overwhelmed. We tried the following: DIABLO SHRIMP $16- 4 small pieces of shrimp with chopped pineapples. It was ok. CARNE ASADA TACOS $19- the steak was cooked well but it was bland. The side of cilantro rice ($3) was delicious. BAJA FISH TACO $22- the fish was cooked well but the it was bland as well. SIDE OF MISO MUSHROOMS $8- delicious Overall, the entrees that I've tried were just ok. For how much they charge for their dishes, they were not worth it. The sides of cilantro rice and miso mushrooms were the only dishes that were memorable. The place was neat, the service was nice, parking can be challenging because it is located in downtown Hinsdale, and the food was very average. I'll probably come back to try other dishes or just have drinks at the bar. It will not be on my top choices to eat if I crave for Mexican food though.

Fun place for families & friends. There are plenty of things on the menu for everyone. Our favorites included the tasty Al Pastor Tacos, blistered shishitos, & Mexico elote w/ chipotle mayo. Definitely order the decadent warm chocolate cake that came with a lovely berry sauce. The service was attentive & a special call out to Greg who made our night so much fun! Will be back soon to try other dishes.

Amazing Mexican with a Japanese twist. Fantastic food! We tried every appetizer, every taco, and every dessert! So delicious! Next time we'll try the main entrees. Sommelier recommended a wonderful wine and we also tried the house margaritas and espresso martinis. Very friendly, attentive service staff. Spotless restroom with quality soap and lotion. Fun, upscale atmosphere. We had a blast and will be back soon! Highly recommend!

Great vibes, even better service, but the food was bland and lacking. Paid for "house" salsas. They have almost zero flavor and are more of a gravy. Carne asada was tough. Rice and beans were the smallest portions I've ever seen served.

We stumbled upon Que Miso and were able to get a table for 7 very last minute, despite how packed the place was. The staff went above and beyond with accommodations, as we have 2 kids under 3, and the atmosphere was very inviting for both families and couples. The peach margarita was spectacular - not too sweet - and the al pastor tacos had such fresh ingredients (they weren’t lying, that habanero sauce was so spicy and tasty, I’m ordering the same thing next time!). I like the variety of menu items and the elevated feel of the unique food options. Definitely coming back for a date night with my husband soon, thank you so much!Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating with giving us a table that worked for a high chair, very friendly with the children and patient with the messes that they made, brought the food out for the kids really fast.

I'll start with the good;Ambiance was nice, cute little corner table for 2.Server was friendly, service speed was average.Watermelon marg $18- very tasty, jolly rancher vibes.Brussel sprouts $10- very tasty, love everything incorporated.and basically just the topping/garnishes on everything held all the flavor. Not so good;Diablo shrimp $16- for being called 'diablo' it held little to no seasoning/flavor and you only get 4 averaged sized pieces. The grilled pineapple however was really good.Taco trio $21- 3 tacos for that price with no beans/rice even tho the website menu said it did? fish, pork and steak all lacked flavor, all the taste was in the toppings. also need to improve how they warm up tortillas.no comp chips and salsa which is a bummer.casa margarita is usually like a last resort for us but honestly would of probly went there instead based on what we payed for.

Stopped in for lunch & sat at the bar. Que Miso has a lively vibe. Cuban torta hit all the flavors perfectly. Surprised myself ordering a cheeseburger & not disappointed one bit. We will be back for the dinner menu soon!

Overly priced street tacos that were not anything special. Watered down $18 margaritas. If you’re interested in chips and salsa at the table they are not complimentary. Expensive night…left hungry.

Absolutely love this place! Workers were very nice and accommodating. Food came out very fast and was all very good. They have the best guac I’ve ever had. Very flavorful. I also got the Al Pastor tacos and I loved the pineapple salsa. They come with a spicy side sauce as well which was very unique and great. My other favorite is the side crunchy potatoes. They are amazing! Also, had some food left over so took it home and was just as good a day later. I highly recommend this place to anyone solely because of how good the guac is! Very good addition and fits in perfectly with downtown Hinsdale.

Amazing food, great service and a rich ambiance. 10 out of 10 experience!

They need some time to work things out. Service is slow, food comes out randomly (appetizer came out after entrees), drinks were not correct, and it is LOUD inside. I want this place to make it. We may try it again in 5-6 months.

I really wanted to like Que Miso. I was excited to try a new restaurant (just opened Nov 2023) and the interior was so well appointed. But the decor and kindness of the staff are the best parts. Margaritas are okay but way too much ice. My Pomegranate Paloma was refreshing yet pricey. Chips were ample but guacamole and salsa portions are miniscule. Queso fundido was bland as was the crispy rice (which was not crispy at all). Tostada with pineapple salsa was good but again tiny portion. The Baja fish tacos do not look anything like the picture above. The dish was all slaw and again small portion of bland fish (are you sensing a theme here). And don't even get me started on the rice which looked like tiny brown pellets. The bill came and a 24% gratuity was added for a table of 5 at lunch- who does that? The manager could not be nicer and addressed it immediately. There are still some glitches with the POS. We did find out that the menu states a 22% gratuity will be added to parties of 5 or more....which I still think is absurd for this type of restaurant. Staff was nice but unless there is a MAJOR menu/pricing overhaul, I will not be returning.

Tacos were very good and we enjoyed the freshly made tortilla chips and fresh guacamole. The variety of salsas were very good! Elote corn was delicious as were the chocolate dessert churros. The shrimp Diablo was unimpressive. We did not try any of the Japanese inspired dishes such as the ahi tuna and crispy rice. My friend ordered an espresso martini which she did not like. The owner told her he had created it and used rum creme and espresso vodka. This is not the usual recipe and the owner should have replaced the cocktail. The space is cute but very casual. It was a Thursday night so the back room was closed and we were seated in the bar area. They need a canvas entrance covering to prevent blasts of cold air every time the door opens. All and all a nice evening with good food.

Absurdly long wait to receive drinks, especially first round. They messed up our drink order twice after that. Entrees still were not served after being at the table for over 2 hours. 2 of the 4 entrees arrived cold. Both inedible. Ironically, scallops were great! Waitress avoided us as much as possible, but I can't say I blame her. Serious potential for success, but sadly this restaurant is a failure because it is so very poorly managed. Somebody call Gordon Ramsey!
