Sweet Ali's Gluten Free Bakery - Hinsdale

This store has by far the best tasting gluten-free baked goods. I I’m addicted to their birthday cake as well as the cream filled cookies. Their cinnamon buns are absolutely the best I have tasted ever.

This bakery is seriously so good. I’m so thankful they provide gluten free but most importantly for me dairy free. I adore sweets and bread and since my allergy becoming incredibly apparent, I did not have that many options. I will be coming here regularly!

I had to go gluten free 5 weeks ago. I’ve realized there are some things I really miss, donuts and bagels being the big ones. I was so happy when I walked in and realized I could eat everything there! No asking if it contained gluten, looking for an ingredient list or asking about cross contact.
I got an eclair, a couple bagels, an oatmeal cream pie and some pumpkin donuts. The eclair was SO SO heavenly - it filled that feeling of always missing out on desserts. Can’t wait to try the rest of the items.
Will definitely be back for holiday pies and cookies!

We’re so fortunate to have this gem of a local bakery nearby. My celiac daughter loves that she can eat ANYTHING from here. I’m not GF, and I think everything is delicious too. We love Sweet Ali’s!

My first time will not be my last. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve experience. The place was so well decorated and so well staffed and the gentleman at the door was so friendly and helpful. It truly felt like shopping at Disney World. Great options and they helped make our Christmas!! I was smiling so much after leaving and they are a bright shining light of downtown Hinsdale!! 20 stars!! Kudus to all of the staff and owners!!

Simply the best gluten free bakery south of Chicago. Fresh items in their bakery case and on their shelves, from cupcakes to breads to macarons as well as other various snacks. Freezers full of items ready to reheat. A shelf dedicated to packaged pastas and another section with dry mixes for your own preparation at home. The pies are always a hit for the holidays. Don't miss out on this gem!

We are beyond thrilled with our wedding cake! Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but it was also delicious — and that's saying a lot since it was gluten-free! As someone with dietary restrictions, finding a gluten-free cake that still tastes amazing was a huge priority for us, and this cake exceeded all expectations.

The flavor was rich and decadent, and the texture was perfect — light, moist, and fluffy. The cake looked stunning, with a design that perfectly matched our wedding theme.

Finally somewhere my whole family can go! These treats are phenomenal even if you aren’t gluten free. My daughter is GF and DF and it’s so hard to find both not to mention I have a coconut allergy and I have been able to eat things here as well. Thank you for a great experience we will be recommending Ali’s to everyone!

I ordered a cake for pick up, there was no mention at all that their cakes need to sit out for 3 hours prior to serving. When I received a basically frozen cake from the worker I explained my frustration that this was not told to me when I placed the order. It was for an event starting in an hour. The woman was very defensive right off the bat and did not want to apologize for any type of miscommunication. This is the main reason for the 1 star. Terrible customer service by this one employee.

In addition, the cake did not taste good. Given we did not have time for a multiple hour thaw it was still harder than it should’ve been and the frosting not as soft as it should be.

While I wouldn’t directly go to post a public review. I sent a direct complaint via their website and received no response. Putting this out there for anyone considering this place. Kindness is key!
