Sweet Ali's is amazing from the baked goods themselves to the service! There was a mix up with my order on their end and they rectified it by driving out the correct ones to me in the same day since I needed them for Easter. The customer service is amazing!!! I will recommend them over and over! (The Key lime pie and Tiramisu are both so delicious! My dad said the eggplant Parmesan was delicious.) So happy they exist for us gluten free peeps! (Non-gf people love their goods as well!). Have to add... they even gave us beautiful, delicious cupcakes when they delivered the quiches!

In May 2023 our daughter graduated from high school. We live 2 hours away. We have been coming to Sweet Ali's a long time since they had two locations. They only have one now and that was sad to hear. We have been coming for about 10 years. My daughter loves the vegan brownie and cookie. We asked could they make it vegan brownie into a cupcake. They did a little magic and it worked. My daughter is allergic to wheat, oats, barley, rye, milk, egg and beef. EVERYONE loved the cupcakes. They had no idea they didn't have all the above in them. Many people took one to go and ate one at the party. Thankfully I put some in the freezer at home before we took them to the party. They were so delicious. It was an awesome celebration and safe for her on her special day. People didn't understand that we couldn't have the "cheaper" cupcakes because if they touched her with the wheat cupcakes she would have an allergic reaction. We have never gotten sick in the last 10 or more years we have been coming here. We LOVE Sweet Ali's!!!

What horrible hours for a bakery to be closed on a Sunday? They obviously care very little about their customers being able to make it in the shop.. I work a job during the week until 5pm. So I don't know maybe most of the customers are folks who do not work jobs during the day. As far as their items to purchase, the tiramisu and cinnamon rolls are absolutely worth it, however, most baked items such as cupcakes, and cakes are terrible, very subpar for gluten-free. The cakes/cup cakes are dense and hard and frosting is often hard too. They Taste gluten-free, so they do not have the correct ratio of different flours. I have tasted good gluten-free baked goods over the years and outside of the cinnamon rolls it's not at Sweet-Ali's. I think, fortunately, for them, most of their customers have probably not tasted what good gluten free cake should taste like, because there are not a lot of gluten bakery option in the area to choose from.

DO NOT ORDER CAKES THROUGH ONLINE SYSTEM!As instructed by the online website, allow one week notice for “custom cakes.” I submitted the order and my payment information to which I received a confirmation email. The email stated I would receive a confirmation when my cake was completed and ready for pickup. The day of pickup came and I received 3 separate texts and 2 emails that my cake was ready for pickup. I arrive about an hour later, wait in line, and show the cashier my order number as instructed by the text. She asks for my last name which I provided, walks away, and comes back 30 seconds later asking if I ordered my cake online. I told her “yes,” to which she replied “yeah, we don’t get those orders so we don’t have your cake.” I ask what do you mean, I paid, received the confirmation email and texts this morning saying it was ready at 11:12am. She just said “yeah.. there’s an issue with that system so we don’t get the orders.” I’m sorry, but why have a system on your website if it doesn’t work. I am now without a cake. She asks to see the email and said “yeah and for these cakes we need 2 weeks notice.” Then why does the website say one week? No apologies. No accommodation. Just was informed “well you can just get a cake from the fridge.” Unfortunately they didn’t have the cake flavor I ordered but had cupcakes. I understand that things happen but I won’t be returning to this bakery ever for 2 reasons: if you know there’s an issue with the online ordering system, REMOVE IT FROM YOUR WEBSITE. AND if the issue/problem is from your end, apologize. Having 2 ladies shrug their shoulders and just tell me how they’re aware of the issue haven’t done anything to correct it, that’s just bad business practices. When I asked for the refund, they said I have the contact the online system. What? I don’t care if you have the best gf desserts, correct your mistakes and take care of your customer.
