I booked Vistro for our anniversary. They treated us like royalty. Complimentary champagne toast and dessert. But it was more than that. Our server Liz was excellent and the manager Paul was friendly and observant. The food was excellent and Liz did not rush us. Overall a very pleasant evening. We agreed that Vistro is the best dinning experience in Hinsdale.

We have been coming to Vistro Prime for years and It never disappoints. The caliber of the food and staff are exceptional. Many of the staff have been here since the restaurants opening which adds to the friendly, upscale neighborhood ambiance of this gem in the western suburbs.

We chose Vistro Prime to celebrate a retirement of a friend and this was noted on our reservation. It could not have been a nicer evening. We were greeted with glasses of champagne and also surprised by a Baked Alaska dessert. Our service was impeccable and the food delicious. My husband ordered their homemade soft serve ice cream for dessert and loved it. Our server was outstanding as well. I would give ten stars if possible. We love Vistro Prime!

We dined at Vistro last night to see what's happening in downtown Hinsdale. What a delight! Chef Paul Virant is creative, but has trained his staff to match his cuisine with the perfect pairing of service. We'll make this our go-to for higher end but also comfort food in Hinsdale.

An amazing meal from start to finish. Oysters, lobster bisque, steaks, Mac & cheese, burger. Everything obviously made from scratch who knows what they are doing. Oh and baked Alaska with gooey butter cake ice cream was ridiculously fun and delicious. Phenomenal service too! We will be back for sure.

Everything was AMAZING! We had a 4PM reservation and was immediately sat and greeted. Food was fairly easy to order, plenty of options. Everything tasted DELICIOUS my Husband and I really enjoyed the 12oz Rib eye. We will definitely be returning soon

First of all, if the restaurant is so understaffed on Sundays, they should not be open! We waited for the food for ONE HOUR! When we got the bill, there was "admin fee" added to it and when I asked what that meant we found out it's "payroll taxes". Since WHEN the customers have to pay payroll taxes of the company???? Never going again

Love that Vistro Prime is in our town but I have to say I was disappointed that they don't read the notes on the reservation and weren't aware that it was graduation night for HC. Not looking for anything free but just a nice ‘Happy Graduation' and making the night special. We chose the restaurant for our special night and just wish they would have noticed.

Great place for a nice, but not uber-fancy, dinner! My cocktail was fun and fit my palate of not being too sweet. Burrata was a nice shareable app. Thoroughly enjoyed the lobster bisque and my fattoush salad was so flavorful! The dramatic and delicious Bananas Foster for my friend's birthday was a super lovely and thoughtful treat from the staff! Will definitely be back!

Extremely high quality food in a sparkling clean and eye pleasing ambience. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Absolutely love the variety of menu options including the newly added lobster roll. Steaks with house made steak sauce are top tier but my fav are the mussels in that delicious velvety broth. My college aged daughter is hooked on the citrus soy glazed salmon and puréed potatoes. Cocktails are also high quality with a special nod to the “show stopper”. Shared the baked Alaska for dessert which was delicious. Definitely a special night out. I plan to try the wood roasted seafood tower in the not too distant future. Thanks for a special night Vistro.

Not appreciating the dual factor authentication to write a restaurant review.....As for the restaurant, super server. She was very nice, professional and efficient. As for food, the charcuterie board was good but short on cheese. The wings were interesting. They were buffalo without the tabasco bite. Caesar salad was good, but the wedge salad had a layer of peppercorn style pepper which didn't make sense. Isn't the restaurant supposed to ask if you want pepper on your salad? The pizza was good but about one minute away from being completely burnt and the filet sliders were overcooked and dry. The sauce on the sliders was a little off to me. (too sweet or not compatible with sliders). Wine list is decent. Noise level is very loud, and food service is a bit slow which seems odd when the food arrived overcooked. Overall okay.
