Food was bland. Rice clumpy. The garlic sauce tasted like sour cream. The lady working register was not friendly. The place is overwhelmingly smoky. I left reeking of smoke and my jacket needed to be washed and i didn’t even dine in.Pita Inn or Jerusalem Cafe are better choices in this genre.

Tried supporting a local business for lunch. Ordered a simple alsultan chicken Pita sandwich.Almost 0 flavor. Lots of lettuce, and could only taste the slice of american cheese square that’s supposed to be found on hamburgers.Definitely not what I had in mind, next time I’ll just go to McDonald’s across the street if that’s what I wanted that. And they charged me a service fee as well.

I have been calling this place to place an order for the past hour and get nothing but a busy signal. I can't believe this is a business, a restaurant that does not have a working phone number, and if you go in person be ready to wait an hour. What a

Absolutely Fantastic Food … the owners are very nice and gave us samples of the rice pudding (SO good) and a sample of the Lentil soup ( beyond yummy). I had the grilled chicken bowl and tried the red rice and the yellow rice - this was so delicious. My wife had the gyros. Both these dishes are SO good. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Absolutely delicious!!!! Thank you AlSultan! :-)

Ordered gyro bowl. Sauce taste just like tartar sauce. Rice is a cross between Arabic and Mexican rice. Never had gyro with lettuce. Kibbeh not fresh at all. Flavorless. Do not recommend. Just My suggestion. Way too costly compared to other

Last night (Thursday) around 7:45 pm I came here with my mother, and there was no wait for a table. We were greeted with a warm smile and told we could sit wherever we wanted. The space was quiet, clean, and peaceful. My mother said the bathroom was very nice as well. This was our first time eating here, and our server was incredibly helpful. He informed us that complimentary hot tea and coffee were available to us (we took advantage of the delicious hot tea with fresh mint also provided), and took plenty of time answering our questions about the menu. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient. We ordered the Tabouleh Salad and Chicken Tikka (Boneless); both dishes exceeded our expectations. The Tabouleh Salad was so fresh, bright, and tasty- I would eat it for lunch every day if I could. The Chicken Tikka was nothing short of amazing. It was seasoned to perfection; delectable with the perfect hint of spice. It was so juicy and tender, I was able to cut through it with my spoon. The rice was cooked to perfection and seasoned similarly to the chicken. Like the Tabouleh Salad, the side salad was very fresh and the vegetables tasted great. Our meal came with complimentary bread that we dipped in the hummus and garlic sauce. The bread was a wonderful vessel for these dips. The hummus tasted like somebody's grandmother made it- it was so good. To me, the garlic sauce is the unspoken star of the show. I'm not sure what they put in it, but I wish I could've taken a tub full home. It was perfect. Overall, Al Sultan is a beautiful restaurant with the most heavenly Mediterranean food I've ever eaten. I will certainly be back to try more of the menu!

WOW. Authentic amazing Arabic food. We showed up around 8pm on a Saturday night after seeing a show at house of blues. Greeted nicely, sat down, and ordered the falafel plate, one Saturday special (warak enab - stuffed grape leaves and squash for my non Arab speakers) and a combo grill plate. All were amazing but man ... the warak tasted like my Palestinian grandmother made it. Delicious !! My husband couldn't stop eating off my place it was THAT good. The lamb chunks literally slid off the bones. Also, as an Arab I rarely enjoy humus at restaurants because it never tastes authentic. But it was delicious !! 10/10. Our server was hospitable and helpful and we took some boxed baklava to go for some friends. And they have hot coffee and tea with mint to enjoy before or after your meal. There is a lovely man who makes FRESH knafeh outside. If you want REAL authentic home cooked Arabic food. This is the place.
