I was leaving Bengtson’s and decided to stop for the first time after driving pass them for years. I was excited to see what they had to offer and heard they were the only place in the South Subs that had Dole Whip! I went in and looked at the menu, then went to the counter. About 5 minutes later, a young female worker walked up with some interesting soft serve concoctions and called out a customer’s name. I asked if the concoctions were sundaes & she ignored me & rushed off to the back where I later noticed another young woman & man were “working”. I waited a couple of more minutes before walking out. It was extremely rude and disrespectful to be ignored in that way. I wondered if she’d treated everyone that way or just those who look like me. All she had to say was, ‘I’ll be right with you” or something to that extent. I was very disappointed and my taste for this place has definitely gone sour. I’m sure I’ll find Dole Whip at some other place. I surely will never step foot in one of these establishments again!

Ice cream and fast food place. They have good options. The servers were nice and helped us with our ice cream order. The quantities are big. We got baby vanilla cup and a small twist (chocolate/vanilla) dipped cup.

They’ve got it all! Great ice cream and the sizes are pretty good. During my last visit I got a chocolate shake, which was pretty tasty. A little hard to drink because of how thick it is, but I guess thickness comes down to personal preference really. Then again, you can always use a spoon.

The Lombard location is extremely slow. two visits this season. The first was bad....super slow service even though there was hardly anyone else there. Gave them another shot today. over 30 minutes waiting in line with only 3 sets of folks ahead of us (2 couples and a single person.) Finally gave up and left. the couple behind us did the same. They commented as well about how slow the staff was everytime they have visited too. Won't be back.

We did the igloo experience and really enjoyed it. The young man that took care of us Friday night was fantastic, the ice cream and toppings were delicious, and the lights were cool. We had a lot of fun
